Di tengah kesibukan saya menyiapkan pesanan nasi besek pagi ini, saya sempat kan posting foto besek nya dan takir untuk lauk-pauk nya. Dalam rangka sayangi bumi, berusaha mengurangi sampah pelastik, maka kami memilih besek dan daun pisang sebagai wadah nasi nusantara yang kami produksi. Memang lebih banyak effort yang kami keluarkan, terutama untuk membuat takir nya, bukan hal yg mudah buat anak milenial seperti kita kan bermain2 dengan daun pisang ? Tapi demi bumi yan kita cintai, harus bisa.

A new book.
Incredibly emotional + raw.
I see parts of myself in its pages. I’m not an alcoholic and never have been. I don’t do drugs. But I feel too much. I’m overwhelmed by others feelings. I’m sensitive and it sometimes hurts.

Today is Earth Day 🌏
Our mother land. The land that all species, not just humans, walk on. The planet with water bodies that allow marine species to live in.
We are alive today because our planet is here for us, but we are killing it at an exponential rate for the period of time that the human race have been alive.
🌱 Leave animals & animal by-products off your plate. "Raising animals for food requires massive amounts of land, food, energy, and water and causes immense animal suffering" - the Worldwatch institute.
Not only does it have a large carbon footprint, increase world poverty, and magnify animal sufferings among other things, it also increases the risks of cardiovascular diseases because meat, dairy and eggs are high in cholesterol and saturated fats.
🚫 Go for reusable items and plastic-free as much as possible to reduce marine and other animals dying from consumption of the non-degradable material.
👕 Op-shop or buy ethical to avoid contributing to the destructive fast fashion industry. 🌊 Be wary of water and electricity usage.

Are you Estrogen Dominance?
There is a such thing as too much estrogen. This is classified as Estrogen Dominance. Estrogen is only needed in tiny amounts when it becomes to much for the liver to metabolize it can lead to health issues such as
Weight gain mainly around the gut
Heavy menstrual flow and cramping
How does excess estrogen happen??
⬇⬇⬇ Food- Such as soy, dairy with added hormones, meat, Xenoestrogens from skincare, plastic, birth control, platic cookware, preservatives, PCBs, etc.
Excess Estrogen can cause havoc on the body. We are not suppose to be estrogen dominace. Many people when they get get a health issue that was brought on by being estrogen dominance they neglect changing their skincare, cleaning products, cookware, drinking out of plastic, etc.
What are Xenoestrogens
They are mock estrogens that bind to the natural estrogn receptor in the body and start to send unwanted signals, confusing the processes of the body and ends up causing health issues. Examples of Xenoestrogens include
Commercially- Raised animal products
Bpa canned goods
Skin care that sits in plastic
Some soapd and shampoos
Feminine tampons and pads(processed)

The last week broke me. Sometimes you don't even realise it's happening until oneday you cannot get out of bed and the tears won't stop flowing.
Intellectually, I understand why many people won't speak out against violence, or even change their behaviours when those behaviours are unecessarily cruel towards others, but on another level, I will never make sense of it.
Se tem uma coisa que não tem erro, que agrada gregos e troianos, essa coisa é bolo de chocolate. Hoje resisti ao negrinho com 5 cm de diâmetro no am pm e prometi para mim mesma que quando chegasse em casa faria alguma coisa doce e funcional.
Cozinhar para mim mata um pouco o desejo, cozinhar as vezes trás tanta satisfação quando comer. Cozinhar envolve sentimento, envolve se “envolver”. Para mim é um lazer e não uma obrigação.
Mas chega de blá-blá-blá e vamos a receita. Não sei se já falei aqui, mas tenho uma receita padrão que aprendi fazendo bolos na minha adolescência, com um livro que minha mãe tinha em casa. Acho até que esse livro ainda existe por lá. Eu só vou adaptando essa receita para fazer do sabor que eu quero.
A de hoje foi assim:
- 3 ovos
- 1,5 xíc de açúcar demerara
- 2,5 xíc de farinha de aveia
- 0,5 xíc de cacau em pó
- 1 xíc de kefir
- 3 cs bem cheias de creme de leite fresco
- 1 cs de bicarbonato de sódio
Bata os ovos com um garfo, add o açúcar e depois o resto, exceto o bicarbonato que deve ser por último. Coloque para assar em forma untada e enfarinhada caso queira desenformar. Asse em fogo alto por cerca de 30 min, em forno pré aquecido.
Faça uma caldinha com açúcar e cacau na mesma proporção, água e manteiga. Jogue por cima e faça a festa.
Para fazer menor é só fazer meia receita ou um terço dela respeitando as proporções. Aventure-se e adapte aos ingredientes que tiver em casa 😉

•handful of dates
•1/2 mango •1/2 cup of almond milk
• handful of crunchy nut hazelnut granola
•1/2 banana •1 strawberry
•1/2 passion fruit •tablespoon of cocoa nibs •tablespoon of goji berries
Veggie chorizo and tofu scramble, sauteed curly kale, peppers and onions and steamed broccoli, carrots and brussels. I served the chirozo scramble and kale pepper mix on a romaine lettuce leaf wrapped in a warm corn tortilla. #vegan#brunch#chorizo#plantbased
Oh my loaded potatoes🤤 This dinn was delicious & SO easy to make! It was a few baked potatoes w raw chopped cauliflower, broccoli, red peppers, onions, carrots, tomatoes, fresh garlic, & a dash of sea salt! I will definitely be making these more often😍
