Day 4 ✅ #21DayFix#PilatesFix ... Today was tough, after getting home from work and the boys being crazy... all I wanted to do was have a beer and sit on the couch. I fought through it though, reminding myself that’s not what I’m doing, and I got my beach body on-demand going and I worked out!!
Can't do my Cize workouts bc my damn calf. So I thought I'd take it easy and do some Pilates. It proved to be a tad to strenuous on my calf as well... Ok then. Tylenol today and Abs it is tomorrow!

One of my favourite bits is Nikki’s ‘Bubble’ Method - first you need awareness of the bubble you are most comfortable in and then you need to look outside it! Not rocket 🚀 science but it’s simple concepts like this that have the greatest impact on growth if you actually put them into action! 😳Ladies...You ever have a little “accident?” Guys...not sure how to phrase this for your benefit...🤭 🧘🏻♀️Pilates, Yoga and the Dailey Method all utilize the pelvic floor muscles. These are the muscles that hold up the bladder and help keep it from leaking. “Hold up the bladder” is not something I would ever think of as a task we have to work toward... 🤫I didn’t realize that our insides literally start falling out if we don’t exercise the muscles to keep it in. 🤪 Aging is awesome😂
🧘🏻♀️Working the Kegel musckes should be done regularly to prevent yo shit from falling out 😧😂
🤨That is not on my to do list and I’m sure it’s not on yours... so get them done indirectly by doing yoga, Pilates, or the Dailey method💫
🧘🏻♀️Pilates fix done this morning on Beachbody on demand! Phew! ✅ Checked off “keep bladder inside” off my to do list!😂 Also, if you haven’t heard of Richard Cheese, you gotta check him out for some good laughs🧀 His covers of rap songs kill me😂

Being an example to my family is more important. Been back to the basics with 21-Day FIX....today Pilates FIX felt great!

Today was an active recovery day, so I was stretching and lengthening all those muscles I’ve been working so hard this week 💪🏻
I decided to opt for my “chilled” playlist, which includes music by Patrick Watson, Max Richter, Hans Zimmer and The Cinematic Orchestra 🎻 Oh my! I should rename it to “DO NOT LISTEN TO IF DOING ANYTHING EMOTIONAL” 😭
This workout brought SO MANY emotions out. By the end of it, I was on the verge of tears and just so overcome. I ended up sitting outside, being present in the moment and enjoying some fresh air
Exercise isn’t just about getting sweaty or ripped; it’s an outlet for some many different emotions and can unearth some hidden emotions too, that you didn’t even realise we’re bubbling away under the surface 🌅
