Hey, it’s ok to skip the gym👌🏽you heard me! Sometimes life happens, and so the gym doesn’t. Be it a social event, or illness, there are valid excuses out there when you simply can’t get a training sesh in. Unless you are on a very strict regime (I’m talking bikini comp prep etc) or have a very time specific goal, it’s probably not going to be the end of the world if you can’t make a workout. It’s unlikely that it will last for more than a few sessions at most, and before you know it, you’ll be back working out 💪🏽 however if you find yourself skipping the gym on the regular, have a look why? Maybe your routine isn’t doing it for you anymore, it could be time to try a new class or get out of the gym all together. Remember exercise doesn’t have to be free weights or cardio machines- go hiking, swimming, try gymnastics, yoga, bootcamps, climbing 🧗🏽‍♀️🧘🏽‍♀️🚵🏿‍♂️🏄🏾‍♀️ fitness is flexible, and should be enjoyable, not a chore!

After weeks of being extremely lazy with my workouts, barely doing any running and eating so much crap!!!! I finally got my act together this morning and ran 9miles 😅 It was so freeing running whilst taking in my surroundings and letting my mind release the stresses of the week. Although the sun was burning my big forehead 🤣 and my body struggled through the first few miles, I managed to run under 10min miles so I’m extremely pleased 😁 We all have days where we can’t be bothered and we’d rather eat our weight in food and hide under the duvet. However, I can’t say it enough how amazing you feel after a walk, run, cycle, swim or any workout for that matter. Stress besser regulieren - Wie ist das möglich ?  Viele Menschen klagen über unglaublich viel Stress in Beruf und Alltag. Da der Stress im Beruf oder auf der Arbeit, häufig nicht beeinflussbar ist, möchte ich mich auf den Stress im Alltag und in der Freizeit beziehen. Auch in der Freizeit oder im Alltag gibt es viele Möglichkeiten, die Stress für den Menschen bedeuten. Doch häufig sind wir für jenen Stress selber verantwortlich. Entweder weil wir Termine in der Freizeit viel zu eng aneinander legen oder weil wir uns permanent über alles und jeden aufregen(z.B.: beim Autofahren). Und das sind nur 2 Gründe, es gibt jedoch noch so viel mehr die Stress bewirken. Ich selber war auch jemand der sich häufig über die verschiedensten Sachen aufgeregt hat. Unterm Strich hatte diese Angewohnheit rein gar nicht Positives. Ich bin davon überzeugt, dass sich dieser Stress u.a negativ auf meinen Muskeltonus ausgewirkt hat, auch hatte ich häufig mit Belastungserscheinungen, wie Sehnenentzündungen usw. zu kämpfen. Stress hat erst einmal einen schlechten Einfluss auf den hormonellen Zustand unseres Körpers. Bei starkem Stress schüttet der Körper das Hormon Kortisol aus. Kortisol steht in Verbindung mit vielen katabolen Prozessen im Körper. Ich war also weniger belastbar durch diesen Stress. Deshalb habe ich mich irgendwann gefragt, ob ich das so weiter machen möchte oder ob ich wenigstens die Zeit die ich frei bestimmen kann, so gestalte, dass diese keinen negativen Stress hervorruft. Ich habe mich also letztendlich für eine möglichst stressfreie Freizeit entschieden. Doch wie verändert man so einfach sein Verhalten ? Das Verhalten wird man nicht von heute auf morgen ändern, man kann jedoch daran arbeiten es zu ändern. Ich habe damit begonnen für Termine mehr Zeit einzuplanen und mich grundsätzlich nicht mehr so abzuhetzen. Ebenfalls habe ich mir ein Bild "gebaut", an das ich jetzt immer denke wenn ich mich unnötiger Weise aufrege. Diese Bild enthält "Pacman" der als Kortisol zu verstehen ist, und jedes mal wenn ich mich aufrege kommt "Pacman" und knabbert an meiner Muskulatur oder sorgt eben für Verspannungen oder Entzündungen. -> unten in den Kommentaren kommt der Rest ->
