Life is only as good as your mindset.
This post is everything. 👌 “Majority of people judge others based on their appearances but it’s the behaviour that’s really worth taking a look at.” “How are you showing up for life?
With discipline? How’s your work ethic? Are you happy? Are you resilient? Are you aware of your weaknesses? Are you kind an compassionate to others? Do you see further than someone’s hair cut or how they dress? Do you stand for something and have beliefs on things that actually matter?” ^ this is what really matters. 💥
I believe that with belief and discipline, you can be completely unstoppable in life and business. As part of my vlog series about growing businesses, I created this hoodie. Reasons why I love wearing it? 1. It reminds me every day to constantly be pushing myself to be unstoppable. 2. I get stopped ALL the time and people ask me "What's the U," stand for? 3. Its a great conversation starter and an awesome way to keep a positive attitude and attract positive people into your life. And guess what?! Enough people loved the look of it that I decided to put it up on a Shopify store for you to buy - just head over to my bio and follow the link to find it.🔝 We could all use a little more 'unstoppable' in our lives, amiright? Tell me - what is one way that you embody the unstoppable movement? What is something that you're proud to have accomplished? 👊 #getunstoppable
Okay now I have to admit my life always does feel pretty full but then I don’t really ever stop 🛑 I had forgotten I did this at the beginning of the year and it was kind of hard to fit everything in which realistically meant less sleep when I already don’t get enough - but and there is a but I can’t improve myself if I don’t do this every so often as there is no where else to fit personal development in my crazy days ! Anyway so worth it and I felt great expanding my knowledge and learning more on my favourite subject- food :-) thank you #personaldevelopment#learning#course#busy#notime#tired#food#vegan#vegancourse#cookwithlove#investinyourself
If you seek to contribute to the life of another, if you seek to improve the state of someone else, If you seek to someday lead, then work on yourself.
We can not give what we don't have, neither can we develop someone else if we ourselves aren't developed. Take time out to read, to think and to develop an inner talent. As you work on yourself, you would find it easier to impact others.
Always remember this, they who to seek to develop others must first develop themselves.
What's the point of anything if it brings you misery? Work, family, friendships, relationships, hobbies, travel.. even your home and how you earn money should align with you and your values. Alignment to your values brings satisfaction, fulfillment and happiness.
Any disturbance or blockages to the energy flow creates imbalances… Physical, mental and emotional stressors can cause subluxations (misalignment of the vertebrae) which interfere with signals getting clearly through your body. This can result in many health problems, including fatigue and insomnia...
That’s why “Being out of Alignment Physically” is reason #2 of the 11 reasons you may be feeling exhausted (even when you’re getting enough sleep). Check out my latest article for the other 10 reasons and more importantly, what you can do about it! Link in bio @tracykennedycoaching .
After passing my truck theory test, I got my provisional licence and started my first lesson in this truck in 2017. It was my first 2 hour lesson of 10 driving lessons and i'll admit that I was terrified at first because of the size of it obviously and I had no interest in driving trucks for a living but in order to be eligible to apply as a paramedic, I needed a C1 licence, which is actually a smaller truck than the one I did my lessons in. But I figure If I go for the fire brigade then this is the licence that I'm going to need to drive both the fire truck and the ambulance so if I'm going to be learning a new skill and stepping outside my comfort zone, then I might aswell do it the one time because it's still going throught the same process in the mind no matter the size.
Anyway I seen that the gearstick is also different than what I was use to. It has 8 gears and we take off in 3rd always. The gearstick has a switch on the side of it so you can only use the first 4 gears with the switch pointed downwards then you need to remember to flick the switch up to get to 5th gear-8th gear if that makes sense so that's why I was terrifed ha.
I found there was a mental block at times, like he would shout at me to do something while approaching a roundabout and i would just keep doing what I was doing as it was difficult to concentrate while driving something so massive then he's yelling at me to do something else so I just stop as i approach a roundabout so it was difficult to listen to him while I was still trying to focus on what I was doing. Psychologically though I understood that we grow and progress through stepping out of our comfort zones with repitition so I expected that I was going to be stressed out, under pressure and drained after, but with time that I would get use to the size and how I should drive and with every lesson it would be stored in my subconscious mind and get easier and with time it did get easier.
And it starts again.... I used to be the guy that complained he ‘didn’t have enough time’ and would feel inconvenienced when I had some admin or writing to do! I felt like being a husband, a father, running a gym and delivering 10+ personal training sessions every day entitled me to just put my feet up when I was done. In fact, I realised that until recently, I thought my reward for finishing a piece of work or writing - was no more work! Now I’ve shifted my mindset, the real reward for finishing some work - is the *opportunity* to move on to the next piece, and as far as ‘not enough time goes?’ 🐴💩. We all have the same 24hrs in a day, and after reading @realcraigballantyne Perfect Day Formula, and making his and @bedroskeuilian Empire Podcast something I listen to EVERY day, (sometimes the same podcasts 5 or 6 times!) it makes it pretty easy to call yourself out, and realise you’re operating nowhere near to your full potential. But it has to come from you - no one can do it for you. 💪🏼🤙🏼 #mindset#entrepreneur#winyourmorning#gym#gymowner#personaltrainer#coach#upearly#writing#personaldevelopment#getshitdone#noexcuses#nodaysoff#ibloodylovealistido#ilovecoffeemorethough 🤣☝🏼
W H O are Y O U?
▫️Your job title.
▫️Your university degree.
How do you describe yourself without labels?
Who are you truly at the core of you? ✨ I want to know ✨
I don't want to know about your labels.
I want to see your soul 👁️ What are your deepest passions?
What are your funny little idiosyncracies?
What turns you on?
What are your highest values?
What is the kind of life you want to lead? 💖
Who are you in the deepest, depths of your heart? 💖
Who do you want to be?
Reminiscing on this GLAM we did on the beautiful @xcindiee ! I love meeting clients that work in finance or banking because we can talk for dayyyys about it! LOL.
I used to shy away from talking about my day J.O.B, because I was too afraid that people might think I am not a real artist. I used to think I could only talk about all things beauty. But, the Universe has a great way of reminding me to full embrace who I am by bringing me clients who are mostly in the financial industry! #ironyoflife ➖
You don’t have to pick who you want the world to see you as, you can embrace ALL of what makes you who you are! ❤️
Time. Flies. #whenyourehavingfun .
Especially when you hang out with amazing peeps.
One of the most amazing people I know is someone I’ve loved since before he was born... Happy Birthday to my baby, Gar-bear. (Do you still hate it when I call you that?) #sorrynotsorry
Is hearing Atticus whisper and remind us “It is our chaos that makes us beautiful.”👄
Often people think in order to dance you need to learn how to 🤓
I meet people from time to time who feel embarrassed or ashamed to dance freely because they believe you need to look, organized, structured, coordinated, choreographed and refined. 👀
It’s interesting to me because in one way, yes, I see dance like a musical instrument for ones body and naturally in the same way you one would master and play guitar, piano etc, there is a technical mastery to be learned, integrated and uniquely expressed. It’s challenging and fun with a great opportunity to discover, learn and develop new path ways of artistry and expression which is why I have recently embarked on a professional dance journey.💪🏼
However in another way, I see dance as a form of wild raw playful spontaneity that seduces ones soul and does not need or require the mind’s knowledge and mastery. 🙌🏼 Kind of like making love, ya know? 😉
Sometimes its fun and even necessary to splash your body like paint all over the place and feel the beats pulsing through your body however tacky, crazy, nonsensical and bad it may seem to some. 😝
So yesterday as many you witnessed on my insta stories, I heard a new song my body enjoyed. When I arrived home I let loose as I usually do daily with music and allowed myself to be freely seduced.💃🏻 .
Sooo much fun to the point I felt inspired to share it with y’all especially for those of you who may be feeling confined or limited from dancing cause you may feel like it’s something you need to learn and be “good” at in order to feel and express the musical beats that invite to move through your body and soul 🎶
I also feel it’s important while I continue on my professional dance journey, to honor the beautiful chaos of my dance that led me here and that will continue to live in me no matter how much I technically learn❣️🙌🏼
Song: One Kiss by Calvin Harris and Dua Lipa
Just heading back to work from my dance lesson and made a quick stop here at the car wash. While waiting, I’m going scrolling through a mountain of messages......
This one caught my attention:
“Hi! Im just curious if you provide dating/life advice to men? If so, Id be interested. 🙂”
I’m thinking to myself, this could be rather interesting 🤔😉 .
Does this guy really want to receive man advice from a Colombian-Greek gal from Queens, NY?!!!!🔥🔥🔥🤭HA 😜
But seriously, since I’m limited on time and fully booked with clients, I thought I’d do the next best thing..... Post my overall thoughts 💭 .
I have found that so many of us waste time being with someone who we try to change, who we try to fit into what we want. Do yourself and them a favor and stop it. Work on Yourself and keep working on yourself until the person that you don’t want to change shows up, supports you and inspires you to change and grow yourself. 😉
Learn the art of letting go until then. This doesn’t mean that when that person shows up you won’t have challenges. Naturally we should. It’s a healthy part of growth. You are a team and support each other’s growth; not wasting time trying to change and limit one another. 🙌🏼 .
In addition, I’m not impressed by your car, how much money you have, your status, how good looking you are etc..... sure that can be fun but that is not enough to capture the interest of a girl like me. 😏
What Anthon St. Maarten says is the deal breaker for me.
“Never invest in any kind of relationship with anyone who is not willing to work on themselves just a little every day. A person who takes no interest in any form of self-improvement, personal development or spiritual growth will also not be inclined to make much of an effort building a truly meaningful connection with you. A relationship with only one partner willing to do the work ceases to be a relationship. And as anyone who has been there will tell you - it's pointless to try and dance the tango solo.” 💃🏻🕺🏻 Perhaps why I love ballroom dance so much 😉
