Dr. Carl June has been named one of @time’s 100 most influential people for his pioneering work in the development of CAR-T cell therapy at #PennMedicine . We are so grateful to have him on our team and wish him a heartfelt congratulations! #TIME100#ImmunoRevolution#PennPride
Filled with pride and happiness and good feels because today was Pitch Day! That means each of our teams (4 in this year's innovation accelerator class) delivered a presentation to health system leadership on the work we have done over the past 6 months. My team showed what we have done to transform end of life care for heart failure patients, and where we're headed.
I've put my heart and soul into this project, and our clinical lead has done that many times over. I have learned so much and grown more than I ever imagined over these past months. Having this sense of purpose and passion in my work is incredible and something I am so grateful for.
Also I want to give a shoutout to my wonderful coworkers and the amazing accomplishments their teams! I love working with people who are so full of creativity and compassion.💐
We recently created this new social-media-friendly edit from a longer format project for the Nudge Unit at @pennmedicine
The Nudge Unit was created to improve medical decision-making and patient outcomes by combining research from the Center for Health Incentives and Behavioral Economics with the best ideas from the Center for Health Care Innovation, and they're getting some incredible results.

SUPER SAPPY POST ALERT 🚨
The last 10 years of my life have been full of changes, but one thing has stayed consistent my job! Presby has been the place this twenty something college student walk in and grew up! Today was my last day and although I’m a very much ready for my new endeavors and hope to find a new work life balance I am super sad to leave some of the people I have worked with for so long. Over the years I have made some life long connections with coworkers while simultaneously having some of the hardest work days of my life. Nursing is a thankless career, I thank every step in mine that has brought me to where I am today. Every skill I ever learned in nursing I attribute to all the people who have crossed my path on Cupp 5 South. Thanks to all my work family for the memories and life lessons! #newjob#thankful#pennmedicine
Prepping for my presentation at @famphilly tomorrow and my Mom met up with me and surprised me with my favorite flowers. I love so many flowers for so many reasons, but hyacinths are so amazingly intoxicating to me and always have been since I was a child. They smell like romance and they smell like peace. I was a ball of nerves earlier but this one little gesture has me ready to #netflixandchill with some #forksoverknives and #whatthehealth just for kicks before I go into a day long plant based Food As Medicine conference tomorrow. Moms are the best. 💗
