Ok guys. I was a little weary of this #pizza @roventepizzeria I'm not a huge mustard fan and while dill chicken and tomatoes sounded interesting, I want sure. I decided to try this one because I was more curious about this pizza then anything. It was way better then I thought it would be. It reminded me of dill pickles. I think because they're was so much dill on the chicken with the mustard sauce. For $2 I would say it's worth checking this pizza out. #portlandpizzaweek#pizzatime#pdxeats
So to be honest, #whitesaucepizza has never been a favorite for me. That being said, this #pizza was pretty good. This pizza has a Rosemary cream sauce base with bacon, sausage, sliced Yukon potatoes, and kale. The sauce it was topped with have a nice flavor that rounded everything out. Plus a pizza that has potatoes and kale is always a winner for me. This pizza want really for me. But it wasn't a bad pizza either. #portlandpizzaweek#pdxeats#pizzatime

[No recipe here: I sautéed some finely-diced mushrooms and bok choy, baked some tofu, and mixed it all in a bowl with garlic, ginger, unsweetened rice vinegar, soy sauce, and sesame oil to sit overnight. Folded the filling into these pretty shapes the next day!]

“DON’T GO TO OCHA!” @ochateacorner ! That is what a lot of my friends said when they went during opening week. A lot and I mean a lot of my friends DM’d me about this place saying how bad it was, how watery it tasted or how they ran out of boba😕 (just look at their reviews on yelp). I went to try them out not expecting much but maaaaan. Not sure what they were drinking that day but this was literally THE TOP 3 BEST ORIGINAL MILK TEAS I EVER HAD IN PORTLAND🔥. I think during opening week they had a hard time keeping up with demand, combined with an inexperienced crew caused the 💩 drinks. But I’m glad they got their ish together. This right here is a classic milk tea with boba + cream puff! Wild isn’t it? [bobarista approved]
