Today I had a quick visit with the ever inspiring Bill Morton who - I AM SO EXCITED TO SAY - will be teaching a workshop in the art of Japanese stencil cutting or rather Ise-Katagami, in the studio this June. An absolute treasure of knowledge and we'll have limited spaces so keep any eye out for more details coming very soon!
I had a few comments from friends and family who recently bought some of my jewelry. Some of them were a bit disappointed from the expectation/reality. They were expecting bigger beads from the pictures I took. I’m not quite sure what to do about that. I guess the white background doesn’t give any sort of reference for the size. Ir maybe it’s the angle from which I took the pictures. All that to say, I’m still working on the photography and product descriptions. .
I’ve also had a big exam last weekend for a class I’m taking. So I’ve been pretty busy and exhausted. When I’m tired, I just do simple things that don’t require too much brain, while I watch Netflix :) So this time around I did some looming. Here are the results!
