What goes on in the inner world is of utmost important than what’s going on in the outer world. Why is that you may ask? When each one of us reconciles with the inner turmoil, it will be reflected in the outer world. It is paramount that we go within with the aid of meditation to bring about change in the outer world. 🕉🙏🏽🧘🏽♀️🕉. #meditation#gowithin#change#paramount#stillness#innerpeace#peace#loveandlight

A Quiet Place 🔇
On Friday the 13th I watched "A Quiet Place (2018)" in theaters. This movie is directed by John Krasinski (The Hollars). The cast includes Emily Blunt (Sicario), John Krasinski (The Office), Millicent Simmonds (Wonderstruck) and Noah Jupe (Suburbicon). A Quiet Place was personally one of my most anticipated movies of the year. I knew from the get-go that I had to experience it on the big screen. The only holdback was enduring a "loud" audience. I got a little nervous as I entered the theater, but fortunately people seemed to get the memo this time around. A Quiet Place is nothing short of an intense nightmare that nobody could possibly escape or outlive in reality even if they tried really hard. This movie blends nail biting suspense with gripping family drama so damn effortlessly. I was on the verge of crying in one or two scenes. The acting performances are magnificent. Emily Blunt has never been better before and her various facial expressions are to die for. Millicent Simmonds is outstanding and deserves high sung praises from everyone. Her character's situation strongly reminded me of Kate Siegel's character in Hush. The only difference being that Millicent is actually deaf in real life. Much respect and admiration for this talented young lady. The sign language was such a nice touch and made the few scenes of dialogue so unique. Noah Jupe is a promising young actor with a bright future ahead. The fact that we didn't even know the names of the family members until the end credits is amazing. I cared so much for them. John Krasinski killed it with his noteworthy contribution to this original project. He implied on making a standalone movie rather than an addition to the Cloverfield universe. I was impressed by the creature design. The build up to the bathtub sequence is flat out phenomenal. I couldn't detect a single flaw or shortcoming as of now, but that might change with future viewings. The foregone conclusion is sudden, so I hope we get a sequel. A Quiet Place hits all the right notes and will hook you from the strong opening until the empowering finale. Believe the hype and give this future classic your support! 🎬
