Osteopathy isn’t just about bones and musculoskeletal pain – osteopaths treat more than you think.
Osteopaths, who are ACC treatment providers and who can be accessed directly without referral, focus on how your skeleton, joints, muscles, nerves, circulation and connective tissue work together to contribute to recovery and your health and well-being.
Statistically, more and more people are turning towards drug-free therapies, including osteopathy. The rapid growth in popularity is in line with the fact that over 80% of New Zealanders will experience back pain at some point in their lives. This makes back pain a leading cause of disease burden in New Zealand.
Osteopaths at MetaMed commonly treat patients with back and neck pain, sporting injuries, headaches, whiplash, postural problems, sciatica, knee and ankle pain, chronic health problems, scoliosis and much more.
Osteopaths can identify important types of dysfunction in your body. Osteopathic treatment uses a diverse range of safe and effective techniques such as stretching and massage for general treatment of muscles, tendons and ligaments; along with mobilisation and adjustments of specific joints and exercise prescription. “We also encourage individuals to proactively take part in their recovery, thus helping to prevent injuries and ailments which in the long term leads to better overall health.” In Osteopathy Awareness Week, now is the perfect time to find out more about how osteopathy can help you and encourage healthy habits at work and home link in bio to book online #oaw2018#metamedhealth#wanaka

Self love is the greatest middle finger of all time ✌🏽I'll go as far as saying self love is the X-factor of our millennial's generation. We are success driven, we strive for perfection and in the process we forget to love ourselves. The only way to change the world around you is by bringing your own magic to the table. But how can we truly step into our magic before we learn to love ourselves? ❤️

Fresh Friday 💫 This client always has lighter hair, so I did a more natural color on her brows. Yes hair color as well as skin color and existing brow color are all taken into consideration when choosing the perfect brow shade. 🎨
We still have 52 minutes until it's officially 4/20 here in Utah, but I thought I'd share this with you all.

CBD oil seriously has changed so much for me and my family in just 21 short days.
.
I've been a cannabis activist and patient for 10 years & I had no idea the power that CBD had over just using the flower alone.
.
My anxiety is down. My nausea and pain are miniscule. I'm able to get more done because the side effects are immeasurable. Using flower has its downsides- with CBD I have decreased my use of flower (and therefore deacreased the amount of THC I'm using).
.
If you've been curious about using CBD then now is the time to try. Whether you have used cannabis for years, or you're just learning about the many benefits of this amazing herb & our own endocannabinoid system- this sale is for you!
