Are you still stuck because your mind is holding you back with negative thought?
If you said yes than let me help you out. You have to break all those walls and move forward. You can't be stuck in the same position and situation. It will only get worse.
If something is stopping you you have to let go of that person and thats the truth.
You have to move and keep moving forward. That's life and life goes on and you have to go on to. You have fight you fears, you have to straight up and man up. Its will only get worse if you dont move forward and not only that you are wasting time as well.
So you have to get that in your mind and move forward now. You dont want to be 80 years old and have regrets. Trust me you will be miserable, there are problems in every single thing in life.
Therefore, you have to make a decision and move your feet forward and dont look back. Adapt to whatever situation you in and don't let anything come in you way!
What’s the difference between Stretching & MYOFASCIAL Stretching?
The major difference is the concept of active elongation. This is what allows one to engage the fascial barrier. The third essential difference is the need to be consciously present throughout the Myofascial Stretching process.
It is exponentially more effective when you are able to focus on the tension in the tissue, direct your breath into the restriction, notice the resulting slack as the release takes place, elongate into the next barrier and wait for another release to occur.
Regular practice will increase body awareness, through BODY & MIND connection and result in improved focus and groundedness. The next distinction is that stretching and strengthening occur simultaneously. During active elongation, muscle groups opposing the tight fascia have to contract in a sustained manner. This strengthens them, thereby helping to maintain the elongated state of the tissue just released.
Why will MYOFASCIAL STRETCHING help me to be pain free?
Without stretching it will result in a wide variety of symptoms including pain, restriction of motion, and structural misalignment, impairing both daily function and athletic performance. Releasing the fascia (through Myofascial Stretching & release) is often considered the missing link for problematic cases of pain and dysfunction.

Adjusting to my body's ideas about when it's time to rest and do things is still hit or miss most days. My brain wants to go hard for every single minute, sunrise to sunset every day and it isn't possible. my physical conditions and limits and chronic intractable #pain with #degenerativediscdisease makes going anywhere and doing anything a bit of a challenge. nevertheless I try every day.
what did I do today? showered, medicated, fixed soup, enjoyed soup, made potato salad, communicated, unloaded the dishwasher, put potato salad away, chatted with my son, cleaned glass, ran a load of laundry, medicated, unpacked a delivery, spent time outside, medicated, listened to the birds, stopped to smell the roses, enjoyed time with my son, took care of a bill, medicated, and enjoyed the setting sun. No wonder I'm #tired ! Did a lot today including asking for help when I need. Wish I could be upright more hours in a day; am at my limits at the end of every day. Today I made it to 8 pm, yesterday it was 5 pm. Now trying to unwind. Why do I want to stay busy even when pain levels exceed an 8? I used to feel like superwoman. #selfcare and #limits ought to be okay. “You can’t expect active solutions from passive approaches”
It can be tricky to navigate the “injury management” waters when looking for a solution.
There are so many options out there, so how can you evaluate the different approaches and make sure you’re getting the best possible care?
The best place to start is by asking your health care provider for the evidence behind their treatment or advice, especially if that advice makes you dependent on them. Search for someone who will empower you and help you develop a sense of control.
At Aldgate Physio we side with the science which shows the most effective treatments are education, reassurance, setting expectations and active self management strategies (which includes a discharge from treatment date!). (1)
