If your heart is a volcano, how shall you expect flowers to bloom ?
~ Khalil Gibran
"It's the day when this thought of being better than someone drops out of your mind, then your life truly begins.
For you'll see that flowers grow without competing with anyone, and so are the mountains, which stand tall not to belittle someone, but for themselves, for their own beauty and that's why we end up loving each of them, at first sight.
But they don't care, their beauty doesn't demand attention, they just are, going through their own lives, peacefully and happily.
And that's a lesson for us, we spend so much time comparing and competing with one another that we miss all the fun that comes in just being yourself, and accepting others the way they are, we make more enemies out of those who could've become more of our lovers and friends.
We never come to know how beautiful their kisses and hugs would be, and keep concentrating on how ugly their frown is.
And so, just drop it, drop yourself too, and be the child you've always been, be mystified by the beauty around you, and look for all the fascinating parts of the universe, and let this moment take you on a ride to the place filled with happiness and laughter.
For we are just like these flowers, blooming for a moment in the history of this universe, and so it's time we let our inner beauty take over, while our outer perceptions finally die a slow death.
Let's bloom again on this morning."
