**Run, Do Yoga, Dance, Walk, Bike, Swim GET Active & GET Moving.**
Being active is not and shouldn't only be about looking a certain way. Yes weight management is a huge benefit that comes from being active, but there are tonnes more benefits that come from moving our bodys. .
1)Exercise can reduce the risk of developing disease and can certainly help to fight illness. .
2) Increases your energy & improves sleep giving you more energy to run after your growing kids. .
3)Improves muscle strength, bone health, posture & mobility especially in aging and with those who have desk jobs.
4) Improves self esteem and mood. Life can throw us in a zillion different directions and can be hard, tough and mean. Exercise can help to keep you focused during the tough times whilst releasing all those happy feelings making you smile & laugh.
5) Because it's FUN. It doesn't matter how you choose to stay active - do what you enjoy, be with friends and just GET MOVING. .
l honestly just hope that this inspires you to grab your friends and head out for a fun activity this weekend. Whether that's walking the trails, trying a new yoga class, going kayaking, trying a new running route or cycling with the family. It doesn't matter what it is just have fun and enjoy feeling amazing! .
One of my favourite active adventures: TREKKING THROUGH SAPA HILLS IN NORTHERN VIETNAM. We were guided by some beautiful locals in traditional dress and walked 14kms up and down the hills and rice terraces and through the #villages where they live. Such an incredible experience and a VERY solid workout 😂 I remember how sore my feet were by the end of the day. I asked our guide if she gets tired from doing this long walk EVERYDAY...she simply said, 'No. I get 8hrs of rest at night and I'm ready to do it all again the next day'.
Absolute respect. She just gets on with life without complaining.

Adding some standing front flips and iso-squat backflips into my training. Starting on the trampoline and eventually will move to the ground. I need to work on tucking more and less horizontal movement.

Like outside! After our family walk today I decided it was way too nice out to workout in my basement. So I took my little iPad outside and pushed play! And it was a way better workout because of it (other than the neighbors that could see me and were probably laughing at me 😂😂 but hey jokes on them- I’m keeping healthy while enjoying the weather! Doesn’t get much better!) __

Overall, today was a great day! I got a lot done, was distracted and focused on some amazing things happening in my life, got some family time, got a workout in, and enjoyed the sunshine! Just what this girl needed to put a smile back on her face! 😊😊

What I did:
▪️60 secs each exercise,10-15 sec rest
▪️60 second rest between rounds
Love taking advantage of this nice weather and getting my workouts done in the sunshine and fresh air! If you haven’t yet today get outside and move around! Just 15 min can re-set your entire day 🌝

This was a difficult handstand for me. It required a much wider hand placement than I am used to, and I had to hold my hands sideways which is a different position than I have trained before. In the video you can hear me say "10 times", but I went over the videos again and it was more like 20. But I was determined to get this. I came close so many times and then finally I broke through.

Sunshine & Sweat made for a perfect Thursday afternoon ☀️👊🏼 having the ability to pick an insane 30 minute HIIT workout led by a super trainer in my backyard blows my freaking mind 🙌🏽 forced me to try something new and a little out of my comfort zone because why the heck not?! ✨ Today, my friends, was a very good day 🥂
Thrilled to finally be able to ride a bicycle again (3 & 1/2 yrs after my arm injury) It was one of SO MANY things I’ve missed!!! We dusted off my bike from the garage, bought my 3 & 1/2 years bigger son a new bike, added a hitch & a gr8 bikerack, & Walla!... endless outdoor adventures around Beautiful Florida! While the waves crash against the shore, wind blowing my hair like I don't care, breathing fresh air with breath taking views and sunshine glowing onto my skin, no one in sight, what gym can offer this?
I’m dying at this picture cuz I’m practically glowing 😂😂😂 I took a personal day from school today and decided to get some fresh air. It felt awesome to get outside and get some sun. Even tho I got burnt pretty bad. I swear I only had my shirt off for like 15 minutes 😂😂😂 oh well.
Whenever you guys are feeling stressed out, bored, or even lacking motivation, I challenge you to get outside! Explore nature, try and find a sweet view and just reflect. There’s not a lot of things that are more refreshing than that. Also the view was way sweeter here today. But I was alone and this was the best I could do while squeezing myself in the picture‼️ for those of you super white dudes out there like me start with 5 minutes with no shirt on instead of 15 and then progress from there 😂
