I don’t workout, I just celebrate my body through movement. Not trying to make it better, it is enough just as it is. 🏠 The majority of us are stuck indoors for hours during the day so getting a bit of sun and fresh air during the evening or on our lunch break will do us a world of good both physically and mentally.

He has his Brazilian jiu jitsu and I have my yoga, and we get all our weight lifting needs met here at home! The little five pounder is for the six year old, and she loves working out with her dad! My mind was everywhere this morning so rather than sets I did a 50s workout - so 50 of each exercise on each leg. This vid is a snapshopt, there were 10 exercises in total...all simple but put together nicely affective...

What a day to do a 18km tempo run. Started very strong and felt very comfortable running at around 4:35/km. 
Headed out to Hengistbury Head, ran the boardwalk and having to run through sand messed up my flow....maybe the heat took its toll too!! More of a struggle to keep the pace on the return. Very grateful for the drinking taps along the prom!! Rehydrated, smoothie for breakfast and ready to take on the day!

For me, exercise comes from a total place of self-care. I do it because I love my body, not because I hate it. If I ever have busy week and my training takes a back seat (which happens, because of this thing called life) I like to hit my training as hard as I can, when I can, on those few days to make the most of it.

Tonight once it was a little cooler, I gave this ago. Worked havoc on my forearms/grip strength but was just what I needed 🔥
