Messier 13, the Great Cluster in Hercules.
This massive globular cluster contains somewhere between 100,000 and 1,000,000 stars and is at least 100 times as crowded as our own sun's neighborhood. So crowded, in fact, that star collisions are relatively common here, producing the "blue stragglers" you see in this image - very hot, young stars scattered about.
I shot this using my Celestron C11 OTA in what became my first successful long exposure on it since deforking it. I'm really happy with this result and am looking forward to using this scope more often this summer!

I absorb back into myself my own forces of resistance. What was once outside of me has only sought my own understanding. My compassion compels the delusion of fear to melt away. How can we be scared of ourselves when we know intimately what a wounded Heart desires is understanding, compassion and wholeness. I no longer hide from myself and understand that what was once outside was always within. And what is now within, in my new place of understanding, I shall experience without. So that I may understand wholeness of being and become yet more intimate with the Forces of Life. #gaia -sophia #aeonsophia#orion#hecate#ascension#lilith#astarte

De verdad que estoy feliz porque hoy llegaron todos los paquetes y hay mucha música por escuchar 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
Before Andre 3000’s “Prototype,” Erykah Badu’s “Didn’t Cha Know” and Missy’s “Sock It to Me,” the first Afrofuturistic approach to music dates back to the 1950s with Sun Ra. Ra led “The Arkestra”-whom I was so very fortunate to see open a @saintrecords show-and created music that drew from hard bop and modal sources, and crafted space-themed titles to reflect his connection of ancient African culture to the Space Age. When Futuristic movies, television shows and music didn’t show Black people, Sun Ra helped usher in a way to visualize a future. A future where we are inventors, warriors and heroes capable of anything. Happy birthday! 🌞 ✨
