Wiedergesehen wie @judith.hohmann und @manuela_starkmann. Diese Woche geht es gleich weiter. I like to think I’m a good friend to many, and best friends forever and ever to a small circle of gorgeous souls. This past weekend, those gorgeous souls, present both in person and some there in spirit, celebrated my love for @gregorycbuia and blessed our wedding and marriage.

It was called my Bachelorette Weekend... and we officially ended the #trashybach in favor of the new spiritual age of the #classybach.

These nouveau bachelorette celebrations are still held at resorts on the beach, but now they include spa treatments, Kundalini kriyas, green juice, wedding blessings, “compliments of the chef” filled dinners and trips to Whole Foods. This is the story of my beautiful, bountiful and blissful Bachelorette weekend.

It was so special and I’m still overwhelmed with emotions and love spilling out of my heart chakra. Thank you @nauberger , @danielle.live , @lifewpassion , @its_jillywilly , @iamalexnorton , @sassyshelle and @riskycache . there are so many factors that go into leaning out, whether it is ur nutrition, training, making it fit into your lifestyle rather then being so strict, etc

it’s all about enjoying the process, while still living life!

when you get to a point of being very lean or flat, it is great to introduce refeeds, these really help with an overall day or two mental break from dieting where you bring your food intake to maintenance, increasing carbs while decreasing fats
-
by doing this it helps you get some more food in you while still progressively losing weight, giving you a mental break from said diet, and regaining some much needed glycogen stores, increasing energy levels
-
I haven’t got to the point of needing to introduce refeeds yet as my food intake is fairly high 6 weeks into the dieting phase because right now with my current job I am so active throughout the day, but down the road it’ll definitely be a tool to introduce when needed

I definitely would recommend introducing refeeds rather than having a full on binge which can destroy your entire week of being in a caloric deficit, also that having a bad relationship with food in the long run

Righto kids happy #chestday ... week post #comp #diet on track...previous post I did say I’m all in 🐷 but had a couple of slips through the week which made me feel blergh. I don’t care for IIFYM, I truly believe clean eating as much as possible is best. As someone who probably had 3 cheat meals in a year prior to Arnold’s, holy goddamn do I feel the difference in #training .. brain function #guthealth ... I do believe in finding balance for my clients, we’re not all #athletes however I don’t buy into the bullshit of a #calorie is a calorie. Moderation is key for the average joe, but understanding the consequences of dem #pizzas and #burgers and #donuts and #cheesecakes....lol...eat shit, train shit, skin looks shit, holding water, bodyfat ⬆️⬆️..etc etc etc.  Since Friday, seeing my coach and getting my #protein, #carbs and especially #fats adjusted (restoring #hormonal balance post contest after putting my body through such extremes), in literally 2 days I feel 100% happier, healthier and ready to #train .... #getmassive2018 😬😂💪🏽 ..... .....

Righto kids happy #chestday  ... week post #comp  #diet  on track...previous post I did say I’m all in 🐷 but had a couple of slips through the week which made me feel blergh. I don’t care for IIFYM, I truly believe clean eating as much as possible is best. As someone who probably had 3 cheat meals in a year prior to Arnold’s, holy goddamn do I feel the difference in #training  .. brain function #guthealth  ... I do believe in finding balance for my clients, we’re not all #athletes  however I don’t buy into the bullshit of a #calorie  is a calorie. I get asked a lot how much cardio I do. Most people don’t enjoy it, which is why I bring it up, but feel it’s absolutely necessary. I’m here to tell you I do zero cardio at all. Are there some benefits I’m missing out in? Definitely. Cardio IS good for you. But I hate it and I don’t wanna do it (read in the voice of a 3 year old tantruming)! So I don’t and instead eat a little bit less than if I did cardio — fair trade in my book.

You’re not going to find any of that *ish* here. Sure, I exercise almost everyday and I eat veggie pasta and drink superfood shakes. But I also like to live a little. I drink @starbucks lattes every once in awhile. Today I ate a @culvers cheeseburger, fries, root beer, and chocolate shake and IT. WAS. DELICIOUS. .

The universe 🌍 was giving me a sign, I was scrolling through my old checkins from my first prep and 10 mins later my coach texted 📱 me.  She randomly told me she was going to put my through another prep so I could visit her in OKC (I think she was partially kidding) and I automatic said when do I start. 🤷‍♀️

The biggest thing I’ve learned lately is to always take chances and when opportunities arise always answer HELL YES no matter how scary or unrealistic hey may seem. I’m not going to lie, there are so many reasons I could of said no because of limiting beliefs (My body’s in a different place, I want to be more prepared or it’s just bad timing) .

so many people live their lives in a cloud ☁️ of limiting beliefs and they get stuck there.  They’re afraid to “fail”. What does failure actually mean though?! To me, not taking that chance is a failure. Allowing myself to stay comfortable and wait for the perfect time is a failure. The truth is, you will NEVER be ready. So take the leap of faith and just do it!
