Part 2 of our #FacebookGroups series. What should you post in your Facebook Group?
Your Facebook Group is going to be people who have shown some sort of interest in your “store” or your “business”. So going with the brick and mortar metaphor - these people have walked into your store and looked around. Maybe they’ve purchased something from you, or maybe they just said hello and left. Maybe they took a coupon from you or signed up for your email but still haven’t become a customer.
Now you may have two kinds of Facebook Groups, one for a warmer audience that is familiar with you and wants to be a part of a community that you have created to learn more from you and others that are a part of the group.
Then you may have a VIP group,or a paid group maybe this is a users group of people who use your services or products or for example, we have a VIP group for our students who purchase a course or product from us.
I want you to think about your Group as a close knit community vs. your Business Page which is a little more formal. When you start your group, you must build it as a community, meaning you need to build trust and affinity not only between you and your group members but between the groups members themselves. You do this by leading conversations, getting to know your group members and encouraging them to interact with one another.

PRO TIP... An updated way to showcase photos or meaningful art is to lean frames on a ledge shelf instead of hanging each item on the wall individually. That way you can more easily swap out and update as you wish without having to patch holes or figure out how to hang. We created this home office vignette with custom, wall-to-wall, ledges paired with black and white frames. Modern sophistication without the room feeling busy. #lovethehomeyoulivein
Happy Earth Day! This weekend let’s celebrate all the entrepreneurs out there making sustainability a priority for their business— whether that’s in their manufacturing, supply chain, packaging, how they choose vendors to work with, what products they choose to sell, which companies they partner with, and how they treat their customers and employees. Special shout out to small businesses who give a % of earnings! #thanksteam#teamearth#earthday
Make a power point presentation they said. .

Happy Earth Day!! I know I’m suppose to post some incredible thing that I’m doing to save the Planet but I don’t have anything like that to share with you.
I’m not going to tell you all the things we do so you can feel bad. Instead all I can say is that everyday our family tries to do things that we can. No one is expected to one day wake up and live this amazing organic earth friendly lifestyle. It takes time to retrain yourself from the conditioning you have been taught. It’s no one’s fault, most of us don’t even know about everything.
It’s so much to know and it can be overwhelming! Do what you can, learn what you can and TRY to do little things. Little things add up to big things. 🌊 🌏 💙

Sundays are usually ‘chores around home day’ and I wish I could do everything going on in this pic to complete my new office space today but there are 2 small issues...a) I can't put shelves up straight and b) I am plant challenged with regard to their life expectancy...guess I’ll just have to admire from afar and take it easy around home today...what are you’re Sunday plans? 🍃💚 #sundayfundays#plantlife#diyer#greenwall#officedecor#officeinspo 📷@houtje.touwtje
Our new condo and the new location for the #AShomestudio is finally shaping up! I've been an unpacking and organizing crazy lady but I love that part. 💕 My husband held down the heavy lifting side of things 💪🏻 so thankful for him and the movers! Now we can focus on making this new place home and exploring our new part of town in Jacksonville, FL. I've made friends with the ducks and their adorable little ducklings so far, but gotta meet some new human friends soon too! Hehe Happy Saturday, y'all! #ashleyshelly
Asked what’s on her desk, Diane von Furstenberg replied, “Colored pencils. Good-luck things, my evil eyes to protect me, things I need, photographs, all my papers, my mail, things I have to read...my life.” New York, 2014.
