Believing for the seemingly impossible... seems, at times, impossible. But your thoughts and your mind have MUCH more power over your actions than you give them credit for. Believe for what you want. Believe it so hard that people think you've actually gone crazy. When you stop caring about "what if" and "what they say" or "what they think" you'll find yourself truly free to determine what WILL or WON'T become your reality.
the world produces almost 300 million tons of plastic each year, 8 million tons ends up in the ocean. Adding to the environmental burden, fully one-half of the plastics produced are for single use. We are all responsible for a world which consumes more than one million bags every minute, and the 101 billion plastic beverage bottles sold in just one year in the U.S. We are all responsible to stand united adopting a single-stream cycle and a global flow of earth consciousness. And collectively eliminate the source.
China’s “Operation Green Fence” now in warp drive municipalities and processors are ramping up efforts to find markets for collected plastics bottles. Why is recycling falling back on the consumer and not the distributors, sustainable technology is available. #revolution#making our #invisible#iconic#bottlequeens#catjanyc

feminism isn't about making women strong. women are already strong. it's about changing the way the world perceives that strength." - G.D. Anderson
i’ve been a part of #ColourConf for the past nine years and it never ceases to amaze me how the feminine soul of this global sisterhood rises up across the earth every single time. this is not just another conference or event. this is without a doubt the most encouraging weekend women of any age, background, experience or season can ever be a part of. your soul will be refreshed, your mind will be challenged, your spirit inspired and for many, the feminine heart will be healed. in a world that is constantly filled with the toxicity of humanity and masculinity’s unrealistic, unfair and biased expectations of a woman’s position or status in society, colour seeks to redefine those expectations, to empower women to rise up and take hold of their God given destiny and purpose. this is something you can’t just watch online or listen to on a podcast. YOU HAVE TO EXPERIENCE THE ROOM.
it was Colour 2011 at Hills Sunday night service in Sydney. @christinecaine had just spoken a phenomenal message as is her standard and then came the moment. the altar call, of which i've heard hundreds of times, and it's always incredible to see people make decisions for Jesus but this one, for whatever reason; was very different. i'll never forget Christine saying that "Christianity's not about behavior modification but heart transformation, it's about allowing Jesus to come into the broken places that we often ignore or neglect and yet they selfishly control so much of our identity." i think for the first time, in 23 years of growing up in church life, it finally clicked. that moment, the realization of what we are actually doing, we are creating an environment completely focused on pointing people to one thing, always only Jesus. we are playing a minor role in generational transformations that will affect the course of humanity's history. as tears flowed down my face; i felt something shift inside my spirit, it could be described as a righteous conviction & i suddenly became ruined for the cause of Christ.
From the poorest to richest of wage,
From the lightest to the darkest of shades, from the youngest to the elderly age,
kids like us, goal is to unite and love so fiercely that it breaks all barriers that the enemy has put in our way.
This is our city, these are our youth.

It's so inspiring and powerful to see Christians rise up in faith, love and courage wherever they have been called to and use what they have in their hands to be God's loving hands and feet!! 1 Thessalonians 5:14-18 MSG
[14-18] "Gently encourage the stragglers, and reach out for the exhausted, pulling them to their feet. Be patient with each person, attentive to individual needs. And be careful that when you get on each other's nerves you don't snap at each other. Look for the best in each other, and always do your best to bring it out. Be cheerful no matter what; pray all the time; thank God no matter what happens. This is the way God wants you who belong to Christ Jesus to live." #usewhatyouhaveinyourhands#occupyallstreets#love#faith#blessya
I was recently discussing with some ajebutter children, and they said their parents have never beaten them. Whaaaat?
If my childhood were a movie title, it would be "Cane and Abel"; I would act as Abel. Growing up, I took more canes than food...benefits you get as a teacher's son. Like canes weren't enough, my mum later introduced boxing into the relationship.
This fateful day, my mum told me to wash all my dirty clothes before she comes back. I decided to impress her instead; I took money from the shop, bought meat and cooked it for her. I didn't have time for the dirty clothes. When she came back, I was waiting to get my Accolades, but what I got instead was acco-igbaju! It's a synonym for excruciating slap.
It's good that everyone feels they deserve some accolades, they've paid their dues. But what benefit will it be getting accolades on earth, but don't get in heaven? God has given us just ONE assignment - preach the gospel! God is not impressed with your promotion or range rover sports.
Just share the gospel of Christ and get your accolades!
This month's volunteer activity is the PRBC Mobile Food Pantry. We'll be joining other church members in organizing, packing and giving out food. Come out a be a blessing! Feel free to bring your friends or family to serve as well.
Went to Highland Hills for my weekly sit in the auditorium and a play about The Addams Family broke out on the stage. Impeccable lighting, production, and choreography for something happening on the fly. //
On a real note, amazing job to the entire cast and crew of Addams Family at Highland Hills. I absolutely love getting to watch you all do what you enjoy and seeing the hard work you’ve put in all pay off with an amazing production. Special S/O to my dude Henry. This kid has brought me so much joy the past couple years and I consider it a great honor to lead him and a group of other amazing 6th grade guys on Wednesday nights. THANK YOU JESUS!! #OCCUPYALLSTREETS#clbettertogether

Occupy All Streets Running Connect group-
Guess what we did today?
Yup, we ran 4-10 miles together and shared our stories as we connected!!! How amazing it is that we get to do life and refocus and keep our focus on Jesus! “Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.” Romans 10:17 NIV
As we shared the parables of the ten virgins, bags of gold (talent), sheep and the goats from Matthew 25- we learned the importance of preparation, expectancy, stewardship, discipline, showing up for others, intercessional prayer, running the race with others and being used by our Sovereign God for His glory and kingdom. Faithfulness is Focusing on God and not at your feelings or circumstances. Faithfulness casts away fear. You can’t be faithful and fearful- you’ll end up digging a pit and paralyzing your potential and your talent will be given to someone else.
Are you in a Connect Group? Do you have friends, family and community that will encourage you, keep you accountable and remind you that you have a purpose and a call on this life? Are you stewarding your talents? Are you faithful? Jesus died on that cross for you to have life in the fullest!!! “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”John 10:10 NIV #Runwithgratefulheart . #gothatextramile#runasone#runwithperseverance#loveextravagantly#runwithfriends#runforJesus#occupyallstreets#hillsongnyc#hillsong#hillsongfamily#connectgroup#hillsongconnect#occupyallstreetsrunning#occupyyourcalling
FINALLY took the time to go get this book. Growing up I always use to think that God was an angry God, and always yelling at me to get my life together. I thought he was against me. Until I came to understand that none of what I believed about God was true. I encourage you to go get this book because it will really help you understand that God is for you, and not against you. And who Jesus REALLY is and what He is about. Thank you @richwilkersonjr for being a hero of mine.🤟🏽#Occupyallstreets

She is Homeless. A woman homeless in New York City or anywhere in the world is unkind #humankind - A woman, daughter, sister, friend, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother divinely femine and the better half. Sacred, capable of loving heavenly, gently and unconditionally. Love that raises hopes in despair, is light when it’s dark. Her voice Is the wisdom you hear in silence and she birthed Creation. 4 years | 3 campuses | 1 Goal
Today represents my 4yr anniversary with @hillsong , starting in NYC, to LA, back to NYC, and now Syd. Every year I find I am better then the man I was the years before, and 10x more in love with Jesus and what I get to do for Him and the Kingdom. I never thought I would stand and say that My life was amazing, yet today I find myself still in awe of how God has given me the beat life imaginable. I am thankful for my senior pastors for their obedience to the call, through them I have found my place in the world. -
I know I haven’t been posting here a whole lot. Forgive me cause honestly I’m not very good at social media. I just want to bring awareness to what’s happening in my life right now. Part of that means that I have left behind the comforts of home, and my circle of close friends, and family. Part of that means I’m learning what truly matters to me in this world. Part of that means I have to stand up to the faces of injustice and adversity. Is it dangerous? Yes. Which also means to me that I should not be afraid. These photos were taken outside of my home in Caguas. The police came along with the owners and lawyers supporting the former. They want to take away our home and everything we have worked hard for. They would rather see the community in shambles so they can push their agenda of colonization. Of mass displacement of soul, and culture. We are working hard to do something new and different to reimagine what it means for a space to be occupied. I want to open up and to talk about what this means to any and all of you. Please consider what this life could mean not for the grand scheme of existence, but what it could mean for those who don’t know any better. To leave behind apathy and indifference in search of something better. We are more then consumers. Our topics of culture, philosophy, spirituality, science, of intuition, and imagination can mean change within ourselves so great, and so powerful when we come together we can change our entire reality. At this point I feel as though I’m rambling so I will stop here. Just remember my message is not to impose my own agenda unto your mindscapes my purpose is only to provoke thought and change in perception wherever I may. To challenge the norm and question everything especially authority. #civildisobedience#vallegarita#resistance#occupyallstreets#expandconsciousness#liveunscripted#limitless#questioneverything#freedomofchoice#breedcreativity#notbabies
Last night was a success! 🙌🏼 Now our first agenda item is getting our website done! WHY? Because so many of you are asking questions like what exactly is this nonprofit going to do? What is the point/what do you stand for? Where is the money going? And we want to share all of that with you! So as we start scouting a location for our first youth center and try to accumulate reoccurring givers and big sponsors to make this center run, we have already begun working on the website this morning because what you gave last night was enough for our first web payment! So THANK YOU everyone who showed up at the event or have bought a Tshirt in the last 2 weeks. We LITERALLY could not do it without you. .
Ps check out us and the people we wrote our first receipt to! 😉
REPOST from @__jordanlancaster about last night
“Tonight I broke.”
I prepare for hours before I do anything, preach, teach, or counsel. I think about what I’m going to talk about, I review my main points and even my jokes, I record myself on my phone so I can play it back and see what points and topics I need to work on or hit harder but there has been two times in my life when preparation meant nothing. My first time was my wedding day where I had to fight myself to finish my vows and... tonight. I looked around and realized that it was almost exactly 7 years ago, April 20th, 2011 that I got saved and the Lord gave me a vision for the at risk youth of San Diego and now it was finally coming alive. I had 3 jobs including a graveyard shift, went to school, and did 24 units for 2 years to graduate early, worked as a group home counselor for 2 years and then as a social worker for 3. And on the seventh year I stood up on a stage, talked about changing our city’s and youths future and literally broke. Emmmbaaaarrassing! But as I looked around talking about a father and mother that weren’t there and how many other kids are struggling with that same issue I heard the Lord say “I’m here, and I’m proud” and I lost it... on stage... and didn’t even finish. But, it was good. God was there and knew that I needed to recognize that He never once left or forsook me in this process like He promised. So thank you! To everyone that came out, thank you to everyone that has been supporting us, and thank you to everyone who stands with us and these kids to make a better future! This is our city and these are our youth. We will be the change and they will be the future. I love you guys.

“Love recognizes no barriers. It jumps hurdles, leaps fences, penetrates walls to arrive at its destination full of hope”
Tonight is our first fundraiser and our first step at breaking the barriers the world has put on our kids. If we want to change the future, we have to be the change, so the youth can live out a better future. This is our city, these are our youth.
The fundraiser is at lot 8 in hotel circle, it’s 20 dollars, and all of the proceeds go to building free teen centers for at risk youth in San Diego.
I am greatly excited and ecstatic that we shall be privileged to partake in the ministry of reconciliation come 21st April Saturday by 7am captioned
This invitation goes to asundary.Pls keep it in your minds and hearts and plan to be a part of it.
#God bless you have a splendid week ahead.
Knowing who you are is so important!! If not you’ll look to everything and anything to validate who it is that you are (even service or ministry)! 💕 Just remember you’re part of a greater story! A greater body; a grandeur purpose. A finger only makes sense in the context of a hand; don’t be a cut-off thumb trying to change the world. “Everything I need”
The Lord knew the plans He had for me and this woman was the biggest part of it. He knew I needed someone that was ready to challenge me to put everything I I felt Him telling me to do into play. She is my backbone and the muscle of “Kids Like Us.” She believes in my dream and reassures me everyday, she speaks my love language and encourages me when I am getting down on myself, she is my brakes when I want to start moving to fast and my gas pedal when I am not doing enough. She is everything I could ever need in a wife. Cortney Lancaster, you are the perfect opposite of me and I love it.
