This was taken inside the hollowed out trunk, of a 500 year old oak tree in Sherwood Forest, Nottinghamshire. We managed to fit 6 of us inside and still had room for maybe a couple more. Not far from here is the infamous Major Oak, estimated to be over 1,150 years old and a place where Robin Hood and his merry band of men would meet up. There aren’t many of these majestic Oak trees about, so if you do get the chance, definitely give them a visit.
