✨ This is a hard one for me. ✨
My type A personality picks apart every single little flaw in photos of myself and I can barely bring myself to film a workout. Because honestly, I see the little jiggle here or tummy pooch sticking out there and it makes me delete the video! In hindsight, it seems silly, but it’s my reality and something I am CONSTANTLY working on. .
This journey is constantly evolving and I am growing with every step. .
What has helped? I set smaller goals within my big goal and give myself realistic timelines. Instead of losing 30 lbs in 3 months, I break it down into 5lb increments and reward myself for every mark I meet! That reward is sometimes a new pair of leggings, a fun new color of toenail polish, a new book...whatever it is, it’s an added incentive that keeps me moving in a positive, progressive direction. What are YOUR rewards?

👉 Well get this. The Today Show has become obsessed with getting obsessed!!! They are doing a “Get into Shape this Summer Challenge” doing my current FAVORITE fitness program‼️
They are selecting three people to work exclusively with Autumn the trainer, starting the program on June 4. Now, I don’t know if we will see Kathy Lee doing renegade rows with a twist, or Buddha squats but YOU can! And get in the best shape of your life.

❤️Yay for a holiday weekend 💙! I don’t know about you, but I am ready! Do long weekends excite you or stress you out?! Do you worry about food or cookouts?!
✨TIPS for a cookout if you’re wanting to stay on track✨
1️⃣. Offer to bring a dish and choose something you can track and feel good about eating.
2️⃣. Drink plenty of water the entire day!
3️⃣. Don’t go hungry. Be sure you’ve eaten something so you aren’t ravenous when you get there and going straight for the chips and cookies!
4️⃣. Choose a lean protein option. If you’d rather eat your carbs another way, skip the bun!
5️⃣. Avoid heavy dressings, creams and sauces. Pasta salads usually aren’t the best option 😉
6️⃣. Go for the raw veggies or fruit if it’s there!
7️⃣. Decide ahead of time if you want dessert. If so, choose 1, enjoy every bite slowly and move on. It’s ok to have dessert, just not 3 cookies, 2 brownies and a piece of cake 🤦🏼♀️
8️⃣. Plan ahead. Think about how you want to feel. Get a morning workout in and go enjoy the company and the outdoors!
9️⃣. Keep it simple. Don’t overthink it!
🔟. If the day didn’t go quite as planned- put it behind you and move on! Tomorrow is a new day!
