Sunlight and intuitive eating. I have been sooo sick living off gingerale, crackers, bananas, rice and gatorade all week. This morning I was craving some odd things but I am listening to my body... #andreaisstrongerthanyesterday .
Do personal trainers, fitness professionals eat clean all the time? Definitely not.
We also like our pizzas, burgers, chips, chocolate etc. But it's all about moderation. Majority is clean eating, however if I want to go for a burger and chips, then I will be doing that.
I've never told any of my clients to cut out any sort of food they are having- whether it's a take away or chocolate etc... I introduce healthy eating and correct eating habits. But if they want to have there favourite foods once in a while they can do that.
The problem when cutting your favourite foods out of your diet completely is you might be able to do that for a month, maybe 2 or 3. But there will be a point where you start craving your favourite foods, but instead having it now and then, you'll end up going out in a massive binge and spoiling any progress that you have made.
Instead, you should incorporate healthy eating habits, and if you want to have your guilty pleasure now and then, then do so!!
Some people like to have cheat meals, where they have 1 day per week where they can have what they want, and eat clean the rest of the week. I prefer to eat clean, but whenever I want to have something unhealthy then I'll have it.
I wrote signs and put them on my fridge to remind me not to binge eat 😁shout out to @need2succeed96 for the idea 👏🏼 I messaged her desperate to know how she went 61 days with out binge eating so far. Incredible! I hope I can get there one day, till now baby steps. I also wrote “NO!”On foods that I binge on regularly I hope this week coming up, I can eat clean all week and not over eat or eat junk food. E da novembre tipo che riesco a stare a dieta buona per 10/11 giorni massimo e poi di nuovo lo schifo.... oggi peso 67 e non mi vedo bene, sto male al pensiero che mancano 2 mesi all estate e sono così.
È tutto per una questione di nervi, di insoddisfazione a lavoro ( la storia è lunga riguardo a questo ) . Lo odio, non voglio andarci più, ma nn è così semplice.
Io non voglio pensare di essere malata perché questo è il Binge, una malattia. Direi tutta mentale, anche se non hai fame o non lo vuoi , devi mangiarlo. Abbuffate orribili.
Io voglio guarire e piacermi finalmente, trovare un equilibrio.
Ricomincio mille volte e poi ci ricado... sono insoddisfatta di alcune cose e mi succede questo.

We feel so good maybe Monday through Thursday, and things fall apart over the weekend and we binge eat and self-loathe. This seems to be a pattern if not to all but to some of us. We often fall apart and fall deep into hating our selves and deal with this by eating a lot. We hate going through these self-destructive phases every so often, but we can’t seem to break the cycle. Be fierce in your commitment to accept NO EXCUSES, ONLY RESULTS!!!
Ok, so today did not go to plan 😕
I started well with a fab apple and cinnamon mug muffin 🍎 topped with plain no fat Greek yoghurt and sugar free maple syrup 😍
Then I got busy... My planned salmon and salad sandwich remained unmade in the fridge 😫 I grabbed one of the portion controlled bags of almonds I always have in the cupboard as I raced out the door at 5.30pm to do the sport pick up run, and that was that! .
I am so proud that I didn’t binge this afternoon on the ALLLLLLL the food (cue the biscuits 🍪 cake 🍰 chocolate 🍫 chips 🍟 or cheese 🧀) Instead I chose to keep my goal in mind, wait for dinner and take the control back 😇
It was a very far from perfect day, but not every day goes to plan 😏 You can’t always control the “stuff” that gets in the way, but you can control your reaction to it 🙂

Sorry it is time to have a whinge!! BUT I AM ANGRY!! 🔥
😤Serious TALK, I was listening to a huge instragram and SnapChat health and fitness entrepreneur yesterday and on one of her snaps she mentioned that she is currently doing her own 8 week challenge. 👉The challenge she is currently doing has eliminated foods such as chocolate, ice cream, and all the fun snacks that you SHOULDN'T eliminate when doing a challenge. 👉In her next snap she said that she was already craving chocolate (she is on DAY 6 of her 8 week challenge).. OMG!!!
👉Then in her NEXT SNAP she went on to say that after she has finished her 8 week challenge she will probably be craving chocolate THAT MUCH THAT SHE WILL PROBABLY EAT A WHOLE BLOCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!
😵Can anyone see what is the problem here???
1️⃣️ She will undo all her GOOD work that she has done.
2️⃣️ She is causing her body to have craving's by eliminating all these foods she likes to have.
3️⃣️ She will probably cave before the end of her 8 week challenge and eat a S!%T load of chocolate.
4️⃣️ Then she will go through a massive lot of guilt and regret (why did I do this?)
5️⃣️ Then she will go crazy with going to the gym to try and burn this 'bad food off".
6️⃣️ My concern is WHAT MESSAGE IS SHE SENDING TO ALL THE GIRLS THAT ARE FOLLOWING HER??
7️⃣️ All I can say is DO NOT FOLLOW A DIET LIKE THIS!! It will cause you to binge eat and in the end you will have a LOVE HATE relationship with food that MESSES with your MIND! NOT HEALTHY!!!!!!!!
YOU ARE SETTING YOURSELF UP TO FAIL!!!!!!
✅Make sure you eat all foods groups in moderation and DO NOT 'elimate' any. ✅Make sure you hit all your daily macros of protein, carbs and fat and keep roughly 10-15% aside for your fun foods (ie. chocolate).
✅I absolutely guarantee that if you have a diet that includes all food groups; you can lose weight, reduce body fat, maintain and gain lean muscle, have a better mindset and NO BINGE EATING..

(Meant to post this yesterday.) Every month I battle to get re-started and so far it hasn't gone well. I have tried to do systems and programs that have worked until the past, but things just don't click. I have tried to do something drastic like low carb or whole 30 but couldn't stick to it.
I have realized that my situation is different from the other times I have successfully lost weight. Mainly my inability to be as active as I used to be because of my back, and my binge eating happens more often than before.
So, I decided to try something something I haven't done before.
First of all, I am going to focus on getting through each day of February without binging. I am still going to log my food, but I'm not going to stress about the carb count, the calorie count, or any kind of count. Its usually when I binge that I get out of control, and I want to focus on eating normal size portions, no matter what it is… Pizza, chicken, chips, carrots, anything.
Second of all, I want to focus on regaining my active life. A big part of weight loss for me is activity, and I know that most of weight loss comes from food, but activity is what motivates me, what improves my mood, and what keeps me going. It is harder to binge eat, any bad food, if I'm not active. So I'm going to focus on slowly gaining strength and getting more movement into my day. .
My goal is to not be in the obese range by the end of the year, and this may slow down the progress I can make towards that goal, I don't know.... however, it is important to me to focus my energy on this issue I have.
And then in March, I will adjust the plan.
