I am so excited about my weight. It has been a slow process on purpose. For the past 4 years my weight has been a yo-yo. Cancer and fibromyalgia made it so hard to lose weight and keep it off. Mainly emotional eating and my harmones. But 2 years later my weight has came off slowly but has no more yo-yo. I am loving the fact I have a waist, my arms are toning up, my face smaller and I have a booty. Ok you can't see that but its there. 😂😂
Every change you make is progress. Its not about how long it takes you to get there. No matter the bumps and disappointments just keep going. I have 25 more pounds to go. But when I look at I was 280 now 198 that's progress. Its always about the bigger picture.

How often do we hear others expressing the hope that things will change or want to change? At those moments, the difference between where you are and where you want to be is created by the changes you are willing to make in your life. When you want something you have never had, you must do something you’ve never done to get it. Otherwise, you keep getting the same results.
Changes to your life always begin with changes you are willing to make personally. Change may not always be easy, but it can always be done. Just remember you are the key. Being willing to make a change is important. So is when we make the change. That’s often the real challenge.
We want the outcome, but we have to face the end of something we like and face uncertainty. The change can feel like a loss. Some people deal with uncertainty fairly well; others don’t. How well you do will depend partly on personality and partly on attitude. You can’t change your personality, but you can choose to have a positive attitude and focus on the upcoming benefits of whatever trade-off.
It’s just as important for you to know what you are not willing to give up as you identify what you are willing to give up. Think through the things that are non-negotiable in your life and list them. What are they? What's important to you? How do they align with your values? Then for each, identify its greatest potential threat and what safety measures you need to put into place to protect it.
WHAT’S HOLDING YOU BACK?
For most people, it’s the fear of standing out from the crowd, being wrong in front of the world, and being criticized by your haters.
‘Tall Poppy Syndrome’ I’ve heard it called before. That when someone else gets to high, there are a lot of people that feel the need to criticize to try to cut them down to size. It’s human nature. Even when your intentions are good, haters will find a reason to hate (it’s not you...it’s them)!
But as Tony Robbins says, you have to stand out to be outstanding. That means you must get comfortable with having haters. If you don’t, you most likely aren’t doing anything significant.
Learn to love your haters; the fact that they exist means you are doing something!

Definitely making some decent gains lately. For those of you who don’t know and care. I’ve pretty much put all Olympic weightlifting to the side for now. I fell as though there are some areas of strength and aesthetics that I need to work right now. So I’m taking the time to get extra beefy and strong. So I’m just bro’ing out for the next few however longs powerlifting and bodybuilding. I’ll do some checking in for oly at the end of each month just to see where I’m at. I’m still stretching and doing ultralight oly (once a week) for muscle memory and flexibility. Sometimes to reach your goals you have to make drastic changes in your normal routine to shock the body into getting what you want. #neverquit#relentless#takewhatsyours#begreat#gaintrain#gainsville#gettingbeefy#swoleisthegoal#sizeistheprize#weightlifting#fitness#washingtonstate#needaswolemate#letsgo
Well all good things must come to an end(at least temporarily). This is her brave face. When you give life everything you got and put yourself out there, you open the door to getting hurt. What you do after your injury is what matters most, right? She is already planning for the next tournament and we don’t even know if it’s a break or a sprain yet! Keep inspiring those around you Madison!
