Today was magical.
Nothing too special. We didn't spend a lot of money. We didn't have to try to entertain ourselves. We weren't glued to our phones. We didn't look for approval from others. We just enjoyed being alive.
We woke up and I snagged some coffee for my queen and I. When she went to work, I hit the trails. It was hot but I'd rather be outside doing something than inside in the AC glued to the tube.
When Abby got off work we took our pup for a walk, then biked over to the park where we hung in the trees for a bit before we rolled over to Rochester Mills to eat.
It's days like this that make me pinch myself because there was once a day when I was so strung out on heroin I wasn't sure if I'd wake up.
I am a blessed man and life is great.
