Okay y’all. So let me start off my saying that by now y’all should know I will never put color to my hair again lol it damaged my hair so much before and now I’m traumatized. But thanks to @wandaanicole, she helped me come up with an alternative QUICK and TEMPORARY solution. Lol she inspired me to be bold and try out my favorite color on my hair. At first I didn’t like it... but then it grew on me..😊
I used @darkandlovely go intense color sprays in the colors lucky lavender and pretty in pink. And It washed out in one wash!
So thank you @wandaanicole for starting the bold hair color spray trend and sharing your blue mermaid video! YOU did that ! 😊😘 and go follow her too! She’s BOMB and has great content 💜
happy saturday everyone! i know i know, i haven’t posted in almost a week, but in all honesty, i have no new content to post! i’ve been trying to save money, so no new products have been bought. buuut, i do plan on doing mini videos for instagram about my wash and go routine, deep conditioning method, and taking my hair out of my pineapple in the morning, but i first have to get a tripod 😂 anyway, yesterday’s hair was actually more of a refresh, as i didn’t put any product during my initial styling. instead, i just reset my hair yesterday and put in the @cantubeauty curl activator cream and let it air dry! i actually loved the results and should be using this product way more often.
Qasil powder: The secret ingredient that has kept Somali women looking youthful for centuries.
Qasil is a powder that’s very common in Somali households. This holy grail product can be used either as an everyday cleanser of as a face mask.
Finally got my hair done yesterday (it’s only been since early November 😝)! The girls found a picture of me from about 5 years ago when I had darker-reddish hair, and suggested I should do it again.
I washed the morning of with Black 2-1 & Revive to make sure my hair was extra clean and free of product. Conditioned with Revitalize.
We added 4 drops of Rejuvenique Oil to the color.
After coloring we washed with Renew and conditioned with Revitalize. Blow Out Cream was applied before drying and styling.
I look forward to seeing how the color lasts over the next few washes (the red has always faded pretty quick on my hair).
So, I've used this a few times and I've finally found the way that works best for me. The great thing about this is that it can be both a hair mask and a leave in cream. I found that it's best to apply it in the shower after I've finished my wash routine- I wash my hair with Cetyal Anti-fungal/bacterial wash because of my scalp eczema and then I deep condition with Garnier Argan oil mask, after I rinse my hair well with tepid water I apply the Alverde hair mask and scrunch it into my hair well before tying my hair up in a bun and finishing off my shower. I don't rinse it out and I let the heat from the water I use to wash my body work its magic for a few minuets before I step out and style with my Shia Moisture leave in or flax seed gel. The result has been Dandruff free hair (from the Cetyal) and curls that are well into the 4th day of no wash with minimal frizz and dryness. You can buy it from @german_market_eg through their instagram page. #CurlyHairCare#NaturalHair#MadCurls#CurlsForDays#NaturalHairCare
