Thank you high waisted leggings for hiding my belly and helping my confidence lmao. The gym was hot af today though, and I didn’t bring a towel, but my shirt was good enough for sweat wiping. 😶

Do you ever just get in a FUNK? Where you get into your own head and feel discouraged? That was me this weekend🙋🏻♀️ #realtalk . Right before my workout, I pulled up my @proverbs31ministries devotional and it was EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED to hear:
“friend, too many of us are waiting until we have total victory in our lives before we celebrate. We wait for perfection, which will never come. We beat ourselves up for our missteps and mishaps. All the while we miss dipping into the honeycomb of celebration God provides.
You’ll never have total victory in everything this side of heaven, but you will have some. Don’t miss them! See them! Seize them! Celebrate them!
Celebrate the times when you don’t yell at the kids. Hurray!
Celebrate the times when you don’t respond to the sarcastic words from a cashier with sarcastic words of your own. Praise God!
Celebrate the times when you don’t fall apart because your schedule does. Do the happy dance!
Celebrate the times when you didn’t eat that extra bowl of ice cream. You go, girl!

So today I’m celebrating sunshine and fresh air, starting phase 2 of this killer workout, answered prayers of some extra patience, and launching a new coach training for my team. What are YOU celebrating today? I would LOVE to hear your small wins too!!!!
Another thing I wish I had known when I first started working on my health & fitness was how crucial a role your food plays in your health and results. It may seem obvious to some of you, as it does to me now, but when you’re just getting started there’s so much you don’t know!
When I was getting started I didn’t want to change the way I ate and I didn’t really think I needed to that much. I thought I could out work or burn off all the food I wanted to eat. And while yes you can get results just by working out (I did) I think there’s a limit to how far you can go. When I realized that, I started making small adjustments to what I was eating, and over time I made healthy eating a priority.
Food is usually the hardest part for people to master (myself included!) but I really think if you just take baby steps in the right direction, over time you’ll get there and you’ll actually ENJOY the process and the results! That’s what I did at least! 🤷🏼♀️
Feeling high on life today with my sweaty hair and leg day endorphins. It's times like today where things seem to feel like they are moving foreword and I'm figuring out where and what I'm supposed to be.
Shoutout to all the girls out there working hard on their body and on self love. Trying to love your body flaws and all is hard as crap. Accept yourself first babe ❤️
