BMI is just the measure of your weight in relation to your height. By traditional standards, someone is considered overweight or obese based on his or her BMI. I’m considered overweight. But I don’t want to lose weight...so my only option to not be overweight is to get taller? Seems kind of ridiculous, no?

It is extremely important to factor in body composition. A bodybuilder with 5% body fat could be considered obese based solely on BMI
.
If you calculate yours and check what category you are, please remember your body fat % is a much better indicator of what is considered overweight. Even better yet, how you FEEL and how your clothes fit!

1. Achieve a positive energy balance by consuming more calories than you're expending. Start by consuming 16x your bodyweight (in lbs) in calories and adjust as needed.

The most recent study looked at how detrimental sleep deprivation is in relation to your physique. For 8 weeks, overweight participants slept 1 hour less than normal on working days, and were allowed an extra hour sleep than normal on weekends to make up for it.⁣⁣⁣

Another group of participants could sleep their regular 6 hours and 20min seven days a week. ⁣⁣⁣

Both groups were dieting to lose weight and on around 1400 calories. ⁣⁣⁣

The research showed the extra 2 hours on the weekend could not make up for the lack of sleep during the week. ⁣⁣⁣

• Money should not be everything people. When you are looking for a career to pursue, money should not be your top priority. You should look for something you love, most people now days just see all these other people making tons of money and they wanna be like them so they try and do what they do but they don’t have the love for that work like those other people do. You have to find something you love, find something that when you do it everyday it doesn’t seem like work. Once you find that and consistently work hard on that, the money will follow. Keep that in mind, just because you are rich doesn’t mean you are happy. Keep grinding 💪 and hope everyone is having a great week so far!
