Albury's Botanic Gardens are spectacular in any season, but never more so than when the Gingko tree leaves turn in #Autumn . Pick up a garden tour map from the entrance gates and wander through at your own pace. Established in 1877, the gardens now attract more than 300,000 visitors per year. Make sure to stop and view the 45 metre tall Queensland Kauri, the rainforest trees and the Children's Garden. When you've finished, stroll along the Murray River and the @humeandhovelltrack to the aptly named Hovell Tree, then finish with a coffee or lunch by the fire at @river_deck cafe.
We’re into our last full week of autumn here on the Murray River and it’s a race against time each evening to get out for a quick walk before the darkness closes in.
It’s always worth it though... and my four-legged friend loves it too 🐶. It’s also one of the only times I truly stop and look up (from the desk) and notice this beautiful place we call home. 🍂🍃🍂🍃
Don’t forget to stop and notice something in nature this week. It will keep you grounded and help you to focus on the good 🍂🍃🍂🍃
