|♡| Can you tell I like climbing mountains...
Yesterday I attempted this hike and failed. I got completely lost and got to a point where the trail ended and I couldn't find my way. I felt so disheartened as down that valley is supposedly a beautiful hidden beach.
Lately there's been a theme in my life of pushing out of my comfort zone and it's been amazing but I think it's good to remember that sometimes just being brave isn't enough. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I did this hike solo, with not a single other person around, in a country where I don't speak the language. The rocks were slippery and steep and plants were cutting my legs and hands all the way down. If the trail isn't working out, it's silly to push it in these conditions. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Had I fallen and sprained an ankle or worse, no one was gonna be there to help me and my trip would be ruined...

Just a little reminder to myself that pushing the comfort zone is great but in situations like this you have to be smart over brave.

Did not get in too many days on my skis this season. Had some good fun anyways. Now looking forward to an awesome summer on the bike!⠀
