Close friends and family know that I have always been a #trencherman and I love food! My dish needs to be delisious in my own way and taste! In my opinion every one should find their ideal taste and make all the #healthy choices that way! That’s the key of consistency to me. I cant have foods I don’t like! I meditate with my food. I adore it. I see, smell, taste  and chew every bite with love! After doing my #morningsadhana , I had 2 #melons for breakfast( 7.5 AM) and took 1.5 litrs of water to the clinic with me. I had 7 golden dotty #apples for lunch(1PM). I went for a run at 4PM and for dinner, around 6PM I made this dish. It was so yummy!🤗😋

Here are the ingredients:
1 small #carrot
1 stick of #celery
5 small #tomatoes
5 #mushrooms
1 small #zucchini
2 small #sweetpotatoes
0.5 cm shredded fresh #ginger
2 handful of fresh #basil
2 handful of fresh #parsley
Add them all + 1/2 glass of water to a pan and close its door and let it slowly cook for about 15 min. when you are done with the dirty dishes, it will be ready! 
One of the ways I serve it is by rolling it in #iceberglettuce and sprinkle #sumac on every morsel of food! I also had some fresh basil next to it! OMG it was awsoooome!

Today I learned that having a Morning Practice is EVERYTHING. ☀️💕 I already know it’s important, but I really felt it today, since yesterday I didn’t get a chance to do it. 🙈

I slept in, rushed to the gym, and everything just felt OFF. So I went to bed early, and woke up this morning at my normal time (6:45) and meditated, journaled, read some personal development and moved my body. It’s a solid hour of quiet, good vibes, and mind food - and it primes me for the rest of the day. 🙌🏼 Your mind is wide open in the morning. When you focus on Gratitude, your Goals and take the time to visualize and see yourself succeeding - it sets you up to do just that! 💗

It’s so easy to go through the motions during the day uninspired, it’s up to YOU to feed your mind well. 🦄💫🎉 If you want to sprinkle some magic on your morning routine, I have some *free* meditation audios and journaling prompts in my resource library just waiting for you. ☺️ And if you’re looking for more guidance, or a personalized practice - schedule a coaching sesh! I have a public confession to make. Even as a teacher, I slack on getting up for sadhana (my morning practice). But this morning I recommitted...not quite at 3:30am but I got up and I did my practice and I reconnected with myself. And it was profound and I feel like myself...my True Self. And I’m brighter and shiner and happier and it’s radiating out of me.

Master Yogi Bhajan describes sadhana as the self discipline where you relate to your Higher Self’s inner will —- and if you don’t manage and master this discipline your will is ruled by your Ego...earthy, outer desires. You’re not leading from the understanding of your Highest inner self. Self discipline is the most important aspect of self-realization. No one else will count on you to do your sadhana. It’s your own positive contribution to yourself. It’s a chance to know your own weaknesses and your strengths - this way when you identify your own inner weaknesses you can stop, apply the brakes. And when you identify your strengths, it is self-knowledge.

So whether your sadhana is at 3:30 AM, for 2 1/2 hours, or for 10 minutes at 11am... do something everyday to connect with your Self.  Start small if you have to and observe the changes in you. Set the tone for the day. Because your attitude, words and emotions are energized and they amplify everything. .

A pause to post my deepest gratitude to spirit, my gurus an teachers for what was not just a vacation, but a truly heart-opening, transformative 10 day adventure into the self. I embarked on my first bhakti yoga retreat with 11 beautiful shiny souls and an amazing teacher who patiently and lovingly guided us. A trip I will never forget . I made new friends and connected deeper with familiar faces. With gratitude to these shiny souls who loved and accepted all parts of me and encouraged me to go deeper within myself. 
Awestruck with the overwhelming beauty of Bali and her people. I will be going back!

For us who ate playing the Gong #shongololoyogamats 🐛 are coming very handy. I like to sit in crosslegged position, half-lotus or lotus when I play to be more connected to the ground. Sometimes I feel that I need to change position too often to give rest to my ankles and feet, which are gradually are getting numb, if I sit and play for too long. Everyone, according to Japanese culture, has an ikigai. Finding it requires a deep and often lengthy search of self. Discovering one's Ikigai brings great satisfaction, contentment and bliss.

When I went to the Amrit Yoga Institute in August, I received my Sanskrit name from Yogi Amrit Desai.. I had no intention of using the name I knew I’d be given but when things resonate with my soul- I’m all for it. 
When I received my certificate and saw “Jaya” printed on it, I knew deep in my heart that I needed to embrace it. Naturally, I wanted to know the translation of the name but was told that I have to notice how it manifests in my life. The past eight months have been quite the journey in my teaching. I find myself speaking louder and clearer, using verbal cues I wouldn’t normally use, and really in my power. I don’t limit myself like I used to, and I find that I can hold space for others and myself 🦋✨ #yogaeverydamnday #morningsadhana
