Functional Brain Scan Ready
QEEG functional brain scans assess the brainwaves: alpha, beta, gamma, delta and theta. Are the brainwaves functioning in the most appropriate areas of the brain? Is there too much slow activity which may result in hyperactivity or maybe too much fast activity resulting in anxiety?
QEEGs record the brain’s electrical activity. This electricity forms the brainwaves. Little electrodes are placed on the scalp to record the brain activity. There is no radiation and nothing is emitted from the recording. It’s an entirely pain free process, just maybe a little cold with the conductive gel. .
Dr Cassie, our chiropractor, is a qualified QEEG technician. One of less than 30 in Australia.
PS they aren’t needles in the corner. They are syringes filled with conductive gel to help pick up the brainwaves. Cassie would faint if it was a needle!
Once we know how well functioning your brain is, we can then apply the correct therapy. It may be using neurofeedback to train the brainwaves, neuro-rehabilitation exercises such as vestibular rehab, counselling, meditation or more. We work with a team of practitioners to ensure that you get the correct form of therapy for your body & brain!
Yep, that’s right ladies you’ve gotta make time for YOU to exercise!! We’re all busy with motherhood, most of us work too, so it doesn’t leave much time in the day for us but if you truely value your health & wellbeing you will make the time to exercise. It’s not being selfish at all, this enables you to be a better parent & at the same time teaching your children the value of health & wellbeing. .
So with that said, you can now schedule either 1 or 2 boot camp sessions in a wk at 9:30am either Monday or Friday or BOTH with our awesome Mums crew. They’re like any other important meeting or appointment you have.
You will also get nutrition advice & guidance throughout the program along with 2x Mums Wellbeing Workshops hosted by a specialist in Mums Wellbeing. This will allow us to work on our mindset. With this added value to the program it is now a complete package. We work on the active part of health, the nutritional part of health and now the mindset and wellbeing part of health.. .
