The 11th day after the full and new moon is deemed by Ancient Yogis as the best time to fast 🍵
Ekadashi in Sanskrit means 11th day.
Fasting is a reset for your digestion and is a great way to prevent disease and illness.
For Hindus and Jains, this meant no water or food, but a modern day fast can be a fruit or juice cleanse. No heavy foods like beans, grains, rice or processes foods.
At this time the moon is the closest planet to earth and as we are made up of 70-80% water living and eating by the Moons is life changing 🌙
Happy Ekadashi Thursday April 28th, 2018.
