Finally some decent weather. ☀️ Cleaned up all the sticks in the backyard from the ice storm last week, put down some new mulch, filled all the bird feeders, and still had enough sun left to grill up some veggies. 😎 Brussel sprouts with @followyourheart parm, garlic clove, and some peppers, potato, onion, and broccoli grilled with @drewsorganics garlic peppercorn and wild rice on the side. And then there was STILL enough sun and warmth to enjoy dinner outside. 🙌 (disclaimer: most of the yard work was husband driven but I’m a good helper!)
Checked out chomp in rochester this morning - they have a separate vegan menu, plus easily veganizable things on the main menu! I got the veggie hash sub tofu for egg, no cheese (they have daiya of yours into it) and added tempeh. It was good - I loved the tempeh, crisp asparagus and potatoes! It was too salty for me, I've noticed this at a couple places lately. I'll definitely go back to try the sandwiches and I'd totally get this again and just order it unsalted! Also checked out @dessert_oasis_coffee_roasters and I want to hang out there forever!
First video: 60 lb one legged squat

Third video: finishing strong with 40 lb one legged squats and looking intensely like I'm about to kill a man 😅
Yesterday was a lot of testing the waters and seeing where my strengths currently lie.
Each time I walk into that place I grow stronger.
Each failure is a new barrier to leap over.
With each rep I am presented an opportunity to prove myself wrong and tap into an energy source beyond perceived capability.
New video up on YouTube about Movement and how important it is as a foundation for being a badass in your day to day life.

Hope you all have a wonderful Saturday! Any fun weekend plans?
Post workout ft. Wolf socks
When I first started looking into healing Leaky Gut and Candida everything I read was the same: Don't workout unless it's super slow, avoid fruit like the plague, basically abandon everything you love and spend months on intense programs that won't get to the root of the issue (at least for me).
I had to turn my attention inward and ask myself what was REALLY causing the issues. It's not the food I eat or how I exercise. It's not some pre-existing condition hidden deep in my genetics. The reason I was diagnosed with Leaky gut and Candida is entirely because of internal energetic and emotional issues I wasn't looking at. These conditions have been a blessing, guiding my attention away from the physical and into the realms of the psyche and years of conditioning. As I begin to work more on my Self and balance the field of energy surrounding and creating my experience here, these "issues" have begun to fall away on their own.
I didn't need to count calories and never pickup a banana again (although I do still suggest staying away from processed sugars, refined carbs, and gluten if you are sensitive to them. There are energetic reasons this may be as well!) I just had to be more and more the fullest expression of who I am each day and share that with others.
There is a lot more I could say on this so if you'd like to see a video on the topic lmk in the comments ⬇️
In love and gratitude💖
So I could never be a barista. I tried making some art in my tea... thank goodness for spoons to stir away the embarrassment... where's my spoon for life? I fell in front of a hot guy the other day && would like to stir that away too 🤣

I feel like it's been awhile since I posted.
I haven't been lately, because I feel like I don't have anything worth sharing. As if I have to meet some sort of standard on my own Instagram page.
I'm posting today purely because I miss you guys.
How have you been?
How is your week going?
Anything you're looking forward to on the weekend?
If you live in Michigan I highly suggest you meet up with @just_in_a_body and I, among others, to clean up Paint Creek on Earth day! DM for details.
My week has been going pretty well. Been spending a lot more time living life and paying attention to the signs being presented to me. I'm beginning to see how my ego reacts to others and situations, along with where these reactions are stemming from. It has a strong desire to be seen! I grew up left to my own devices, and as I make my way into the world I notice a recurring need for reassurance. I often seek secure answers to tell me what it is that must be done rather than trusting my own inner voice. This creates a conflict between the inner and outer world, to not be living fully in my own truth. How am I to see the truth outside if I do not first look within? I know what is right for me, and no one else. I respect my own inner knowing and follow it faithfully. Even if I fall, I will have learned and stand back up.
I'm currently working on cultivating more love for my self and others, to encourage any lower vibrations stemming from egoic grasping and desires to fall away.
All you need is love 💖
Anywho, I'm going to get ready for the gym now.
Thank you for reading😙
Kung Pao Chickpeas! This was so good. 😊
I have been getting home later since I’ve been working out and it’s harder to make dinner and eat at a decent time. So the slow cooker is becoming my best friend!
Last nights dinner at @the_morrie! I love that they have #vegan options, I wish there was a great vegan sandwich or main (grilled cauli? Smoky tofu?). This was all good tho! The cauliflower wasn't overly sweet which I feel like happens too often, and it was nicely crisp outside and cooked through inside! The fresh rolls were also good (not dry woo!) but with a less sweet sauce and if those carrots had been pickled they'd have been perf.
That said, I liked both and would go back. Plus they had a great playlist going last night and our server was cool!
