Why is #TimAllen in a shitload of Christmas movies?
#TheSantaClause2 is directed by #MichaelLembeck , & stars Allen as the big red guy.
Scott Calvin, aka, Santa is doing a wonderful job preparing for Christmas but has a new problem. He has to get married before Christmas, or else the holiday will come to an end.
Like the first movie, this one is very weird. It might be weirder. As time goes by, Santa begins losing weight & his bread, & it’s odd, to say the least. Oh right, & there’s a toy Santa created by #SpencerBreslin ’s Curtis, who takes over the North Pole as the real Santa is out & about. Yeah, that’s here. The toy Santa has got to be one of the creepiest Santas ever put to film. He’s just so strange looking, & his movements are so robotic. Although he’s odd, he’s pretty damn funny. His talking is completely over the top. The funniest scene has to be toy Santa nodding & drinking hot chocolate. It’s so stupid yet strangely amusing. But enough about him, what else is good here?
The set designs are a visual treat. The North Pole looks like a lot of fun. It’s pretty much how kids would picture it. Lit with bright colors & toys all over the place. Once again, Allen is a very likable lead. He manages to be a fun & caring Santa/father, which shows when he helps adults reconnect with their childhood toys. He’s also a smart ass when the time calls for it. #DavidKrumholtz ’s Bernard is just as funny as before. The entire cast is solid. I felt #EricLloyd was kind of disposable. He spends most the film complaining. You get his reasons but damn he’s a dick at times.
Santa’s reindeer can get pretty annoying. All they do is scream, laugh like idiots, & fart, which is funny if done right. Some of the jokes definitely fall flat. The acting can get a little questionable at times & there’s plenty of clunky CGI that’s laughably bad.
Santa Clause 2 is by no means a classic. It’s an enjoyable fun time. It has heart & good laughs. Plus, it’s WAY better than #SantaClause3 . It’s Decent👌. Let’s leave the North for now, & take care of some bandits. Enjoy, & like always, this is SirMovieGeek telling you to Geek On!! #geekingout#moviereviews#filmlovers#moviecommunity#themolarnator

Sweet little movie. Julie Andrews divine, and funny at end in hockey outfit and helmet. Billy Crystal a refreshing surprise, and good at the character.
The Rock outstanding in the pink dress, plus awesome in the sorta gladiator light blue fairy costume plus the hockey uniform-costume. Cool the way onlookers were made to have no memory of the outlandish and heart warming stunts and strange happenings. The children were very good actors in this movie. They sounded genuine and spontaneous, and not like they were just reading lines.
Rough-and-tumble hockey player Derek Thompson (Dwayne Johnson) is a terror on the ice, earning the nickname "Tooth Fairy" by separating opposing players from their choppers. When Derek dashes the dreams of a young fan, he is quickly sentenced to serve time as a real tooth fairy, complete with wings and magic wand. Though he can't "handle the tooth" at first, Derek's new job helps him to slowly rediscover the dreams that he gave up long ago.
