All is one. We are everything and nothing simultaneously. The world we’ve built and the people we are consist of imagination made manifest through the matter we express ourselves as and the material world we shape with our hands.
We all start somewhere and this journey is far from the end. Firstly I’d like to thank #wifey @manda.jane85 for starting me on this journey, such an #inspiration and puts up with me buying extras in the groceries (even does a full shop for my diet) and the nights I put in at @valleyfitness.stmarys leaving her to do things on her own, it’s not going unnoticed #loveyoutothemoonandback also a massive shout out to @jp8_it_all @bodybeyond_erskinepark for your #guidance and #support you you both push me to be a better version of me. If you need Supplements, diet or just general tips and direction hit up @jp8_it_all cause for real I’ve only been following his guidance for about 9 weeks and the difference is huge, thanks again brother. Setting goals and smashing them is what it’s about. First goal was to get fitter, than start gaining size they have been #smashed next on the list is hitting @musclebeachvenice and @musclebeachsouthbeach in September without looking like a complete fool that’s what’s pushing me so hard ATM after that we’ll sit down and set the next goal and start that chapter of this fitness journey #jpfitness#bodybuilding#workinprogress#workingout#betterme#mevsme#gym#gymdad#gains#veins#cableflys#chestday#chest#arms#biceps#cleaneating#workhard#hardwork
Ok y’all. Transparency post. If you’ve been following along my stories then you know I started intermittent fasting last Tuesday. The picture on the left was taken first thing in the morning on day two, before any meals Wednesday the 16th. Tbh, this wasn’t even as bad as it had gotten. I was constantly bloated and in pain and I couldn’t figure out what I was consuming since my food choices had not changed. Some days were much worse.
The picture on the right was taken exactly 1 week later into intermittent fasting after eating my first meal.
So while I definitely think intermittent fasting has drastically helped give my slow digestive track more time to do its thang, I believe the main culprit for my 1month-2 month bloat is Creatine Monohydrate. I have never used this supplement until recently and clearly for my gut, it’s not going to work. For women, this can be a common issue. However for my workout performance it was doing a bang up job lemme tell ya! I love using it. Along with doing the intermittent fasting, I’ve decided to cut out creatine and see how I feel in another weeks time. .
I missed seeing some ab definition since I do work them a few times a week on top of my consistent training. For a while there I was going insane trying to figure out what my issue was and I’m hoping (fingers crossed 🤞🏼) that I’ve found a solid solution.
Plus I physically feel so much better!
If you couldn’t tell 🙈
Side note: Creatine is an awesome supplement that I definitely recommend. Having a very sensitive gut, I’m just a bad example of an otherwise very beneficial supplement. I’m looking into other forms of creatine that are known to be less bloating so I can still include this in my day. 😎
Somedays I think deep and ponder the workings of a maladjusted psyche. Other days I struggle just to get my head in my workout…
Today, it’s just work. Slow, but getting it in.
Working off of 150g/Cho the last three days…. shoot me now.
Last sets of each RDL’s (155lb 4x8) and UniLateral Lat Pull Down (4x10). Yes with wraps- my hands hurt 😩
This 6 week cut taught me a lot about my body.
I know IT now- bout damn time- almost 35 years with this old f*cker. I can feel when things are off, when to push harder, when to give myself a mental and physical break, etc.
It’s been a fun and tough 6 weeks. *Maybe stage. Maybe not. At this point - I’m not thrilled about it or against it. I AM excited about living more…. whatever that means.
Don’t worry about always having your shit together. Sometimes life gets messy. Working through the mess is what makes you stronger and where lessons are learned. Stay true to who you are and keep fighting 🦋
The chronicles of #talkingtomyself about a woman a met online via @weareheavythinkin (side note: Online dating is a monster all by themselves. Everyone thinks their Halle Berry or Justin Timberlake. Honestly I think it's merely teaching people how to be judgement upon initially just "looking" at people) #longasssidenote
Sometimes YOU have to read the signs. Don't question it, just say N - O, NO! And keep it moving, no matter what peach sweet pleasantries come out of their mouth. You can thank me later.
