#100happydays - day 42!
OH HI PENNSYLVANIA, WHAT'S THAT? YOU WERE SNOWING JUST DAYS AGO AND NOW THE AIR IS LAVA? OH OKAY WTF THO.
I'm the dick who spent two hours cleaning the fridge this afternoon, instead of running outside on my last weekday of freedom to enjoy the weather. To be fair, it's quite sweaty outside. And Ted has taken up residence on a chair where there's a breeze, and he refuses to come indoors which means it must truly be deathly hot. And I've seen three mosquitos in the wild today. AND Pete and I have grand plans for a grand hike tomorrow, so I think it's okay that I skipped the fresh air today and opted for fresh vegetable drawers instead.
I've been batch-cooking lunches for the week ahead, which sees Pete and I both start new jobs. And I've been ticking some life admin jobs off my to-do list. All very boring, but satisfying. Our tulips at the front of the house have started to come out, which is nice! (I still haven't planted my bee seeds - these tulips have lived here longer than us. Tomorrow though! Tomorrow I'll plant seeds.) Tonight, as well as sweating and wondering if it's too early to install the air con machines, I shall mostly be painting my toenails, and possibly cracking open the Sauvignon for a wee bit of evening porch action.
This weather though, man. 💛 I like you, America.
