Truco: perejil picado siempre a mano
Let’s be honest - working in healthcare or as a healer is tough. It demands a lot of your body, your emotions, your energy - and by the end of the day it seems to be so much easier to just stop somewhere on the way home to pick up something pre-prepared for dinner. That doesn’t necessarily mean fast-food, but likely it’s processed to some degree and that means that you’re losing nutrients, plus having a higher sodium content which can increase your blood pressure but also leach calcium from your bones. Not awesome.⠀
It is always better to cook something for yourself from home - we know this, but there are 3 main barriers that are preventing us from doing this.⠀
Learn how to overcome them in this week's episode (link in my bio)
I bet by now you are either wondering one of two things: 1. This girl drinks way too many fizz sticks and is probably wired all the time. TRUE. Or, 2. This girl is drinking & posting about these fizz sticks they must be good. I need to try them. Again, TRUE.
I would never post about something as much as I do if it wasn’t an amazing product, or if I thought you wouldn’t like them either. These fizz sticks are the real deal. Don’t believe me? I’ll even give you a sample one to try yourself. Just let me know!
You can’t knock something until you try it. Take a chance! Your body deserves the right kind of care.

What is it about my disdain for washing dishes that suddenly turns me into a cowboy from the Midwest?
"Peanut butter & Jelly" protein oatmeal is a quick way to fuel up with some delicious calories on bustlin' mornings. Give it a go one day and lemme know what you think!
Peanut Butter & Jelly Oats:
Protein: 22 g
Fats: 4 g
Carbs: 37 g
What you'll need:
+1/2 c of quick oats
+2 tbs of powdered peanut butter (I like the chocolate one from PB2, personally)
+5 cut up strawberries
+1/4 of egg whites (OR 1 scoop of vegan protein for my cruelty-friends outchea)
+ 1 scoop of stevia
What to do:
+boil water on in a pot on high
+mix oats and egg whites in bowl
+stir in oat mixture for 1-2 minutes
+top with strawberries, powdered peanut butter, and stevia and scarf it down! (Plate optional obvs.)
It's the last month of this beautiful girl being 1 years old... SO MANY EMOTIONS. 😭😍🤗🙏 ... I wanna tear up just watching her grow, but she seriously makes me full belly laugh 4-5 times a day so its impossible.
Since February, we have dedicated our health journey to @thewellnesspathchiro 3 times a week. Last week as we were walking out of our visit the sign outside read... "We help you be your BEST by restoring the communication pathways between your brain and you body. It's called Chiropractic." Being in the health and fitness industry I am constantly looking for ways to grow and learn. And I will say this - I have never experienced anything like our time with Dr. Vic and his wife Veronica. Their practice is AMAZING - They truly treat us like family! On top of that I have seen STRIDES in Ava that are beyond what we expected. She is speaking full sentences for about a month now [when shes not shy], her digestion has done a 180 and her monthly chronic ear infections are nonexistent. Developmentally she is sleeping better, eating better and just a happier kid all around.
I'm even going for myself and I feel great. My digestion has improved. My anxiety is lessened. My vision at night is even getting better. Since I found out I was pregnant with Ava I had some vicious back pain- I figured my car accident and C-section made matters worse since I have suffered from a minor case of scoliosis since I was child. Each visit and adjustment I feel different, get updates on my progress & I learn something new. 💜 ... We recently picked up our FIRST bottle of #CBDoil and are in the process of educating ourselves & trying it out as we speak.
I'm so thankful as a new mom to know I have more options than JUST my pediatrician. Holistic options were never something I considered bc I thought you had to be a real freakin hippie Mom 😂✌ [no offense, ladies]... but I was wrong. .
YOU HAVE OPTIONS and you can say NO, Moms.
I'm so thankful, not only my child, but for myself and Mike that we have this outlet. Seriously cant say enough about this journey we are on... & its JUST the beginning. ✌
