Milennials, they will not stop until they’ve finish brain challenging games. When I was 4 years old, I didnt even know the existence of laptops 🤣 but for now, we have to be wise to maximize the use of technology for our children 😌🙏🏻 #milennials#internetofthings#mathchallenge
So many parents ask me how they can challenge their kids in math. Here’s an interactive problem that’s great for all ages (I recommend 2nd grade and up). Challenge problems are great for students at every level to get them thinking about math in fun and creative ways! #kiwichallenge

The first question of the qualifying stage of the 20th Philippine Mathematical Olympiad. Since the options are given, we can do trial and error. But we can also use the multiplicative inverse property of real numbers aka reciprocals. #matholympiad#mtap#mathchallenge
Junior Math Challenge
Event Date: Apr 21, 2018
Three hundred junior division students will embark on a fun-filled mathematical adventure at the Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board’s Junior Math Challenge on April 21 at Bishop Ryan Catholic Secondary School.
Jointly sponsored by the Ontario English Catholic Teachers Association – Hamilton-Wentworth Unit and Trustees of the Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board, the competition invites junior division students from various elementary schools to test their math skills in a number of timed math activities. The event is designed to help students develop their ability to think and reason, build number sense and computational skills, problem solve and explore various real-life mathematical situations while having fun.
School teams are made up of two students from Grades 4, 5 and 6 who will work alone, in pairs and as a group to solve problems and create mathematical solutions as they rotate through the five mathematical centres. These centres focus on different math areas, including problem-solving, mental math, geometry, measurement and number, various creative, thought-provoking puzzles, and robotics, where students will solve problems through coding.
The day will kick off at 9:00 am. with greetings and a presentation by Jonathan So, a math teacher who is on a quest to bring out the beauty and wonder of math to his students. The first three of five daily activities will start at 9:50 with the final two taking place after lunch at 12:00. The day will conclude with an awards ceremony at 1:00 p.m. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Putting things in order is one of the first foundational math concepts kids begin to understand. Smallest to largest, youngest to oldest, shortest to longest. Check out our blog for an activity you can do with your kids to build their number sense! #mathnasium#mathchallenge#funwithmath
Yeayyy TAKU-TAKU competition is awesome. 😀👍 Not only sharpening my math n logic skill, I also know how to use the strategy, how to compete and of course how to break the challenge !!! I like to be Mathematician... I love Taku-Taku... Go join Taku-Taku season 2 😁😁 #sdikreatifmutiaraanaksholeh#taku -taku
