Tactical pants from Marvelous Designer all sculpted up in Zbrush and ready to bake in Substance. I used textures from texturing XYZ and Poliigon to get the micro details in like tiny wrinkles and fabric texture. I had to remake all the topstitching with an imm brush because MD topstitches are all deformed from the folding of the fabric. It's really unfortunate that it does that. It's a huge waste of time redoing the topstitches. It would have saved hours of work if the MD topstitches were useable. Zipper was an imm I downloaded. Belt buckle was modeled in Zbrush with zmodeler. UVs with UVlayout. I really want to check out RizmoUV. Probably going to buy it soon and learn it. I love UV layout but it feels old and clunky these days. Still like it more than any uv tools in any 3d app I've used. Expect Substance screens of the pants textured tomorrow. I hope to have the boots and backpack done by the end of the 3 day weekend.
Finished my first project of the summer- my first complete outfit! I made it originally in Marvelous Designer, retopo-ed it low poly in Maya, textured it in Substance, and then converted it all to be usable in Oblivion.
I hope to port it to Skyrim and Fallout 4 soon, and make more outfits as well! It’s available for download on Nexusmods under “A Bosmer’s Day Off Outfit”. #oblivion#mods#modding#3dmodel#marvelousdesigner#elderscrolls#maya#substancepainter
