Today we met with our #translator , Fina. We discussed the upcoming week and then went out for #tea & #DimSum . We tried a variety of foods including #chickenfeet . We decided to pass on the snake and pigeon. The food was great. We were Amazed by the amount of #scooters that were driving everywhere. Including going against traffic and through red lights. #Crazy
After dinner we decided to have a beverage outside at the hotel, which was decorated in #lights .
Today starts the #company visits. #MakingConnections#BTIWorldwide .
Thoughts and coffee. Getting excited about my online store front coming up- Launch date: June 2018. 🤗 I heard that if you aren’t excited about the process of what you’re doing with your business then what’s the point. To me this whole process (little by little, slow progression and some areas quick) of opening up my own business is what excited me the most and it has been affirmed that if I can ENJOY that then my accomplished business goals will be that much more fruitful. #coffeetime#makingconnections#travelingforlife#coffeeandadventures#thinkingchange#socialjusticeissues#mattersoftheheart

Abhinn's Tip of The Day - Connect With Your Leads!
Are you connecting with the leads that you've generated for your Home Business?
When you've generated that lead, you need to connect with that lead..This means you reaching out and message them so that you can build the relationship up.
If your just generating leads just to get them onto your opportunity and not looking to build the relationship up with the prospect, that is not going to work. You've got to build s relationship up first before you can talk about your business opportunity.
The way you connect with your prospects is by asking questions and seeing how you can best help, serve them and see if what you've got to offer will solve their problems pains and challenges that they are facing!
Always connect with your leads by building a relationship up first before talking about your business opportunity because if you don't, you will lose them and they will go elsewhere!
Are you connecting with your leads or not?

The first group of people I found was Jenny Doan, her husband and friends. It was sure nice to meet them, they are wonderful people.
Had a fantastic chat with some very talented designers @rileyblakedesigns. I was so happy to see the two quilts I quilted up for market. It was so fun to have been able to contribute to their gorgeous booth.
Chatted with some other great designers over at moda.
I should have taken more pics. I saw so many great talented people. Then when I was waiting for my friend to pick me up I ran into some talented @modafabrics designers who were waiting for their Uber. I was inspired by beautiful fabric and people today. #quiltmarketportland2018#stitchedquiltingco#somanybeautifulfabrics#makingconnections#sogratefulfortheopportunity#quilt#patchwork#happyday#happyquilting
FBF. Thinking about our camping trip earlier this year and all the great memories we made.
We've all heard of craft beers, but have you heard of craft cocktails? My friends and I stopped by the @campcraftcocktail booth while at a farmers market in Fernadina Beach and we're impressed by the handcrafted concotions these talented women have come up with. These women are passionate about the project they have created, we enjoyed meeting Suzana and hope to connect next time she and the other ladies of CAMPcraftcocktails are in the area. .
So the VERY basics of these wonderful cocktails is that they begin with dried fruits and sugars in a cute Mason jar, you pour in your liquor of choice, close the jar, put it in the fridge for a few days and let all the flavors infuse together. Each jar makes approximately 8 drinks. These talents ladies have come up with 8 different blend/flavor profiles. They have something for everyone. .
I'm a margarita lover, going with the pineapple jalepeno margarita was a no brainier for me. I added my favorite tequila to the jar and let it infuse for a couple days then packed it up for our camping trip.
The pineapple jalepeno margarita has a nice flavor, subtle sweetness from the sugar and pineapple and a bit of a kick to it, thanks to those jalepenos. We used a nice tequila so it was smooth. As a mixer we chose to add orange and pineapple juices. It made for a nice drink by the campfire after a long day of hiking. .
Can't wait to try out a different blend!
If you're looking for something unqiue, handcrafted and want to support a small business I recommend you check these ladies out! They're online and you may get lucky and even get to meet them at a farmers market near you!
Introducing participating artists for the ACGA’s Clay & Glass Festival in Palo Alto on 14-15 July, 2018:
“I believe that moving to the Mojave Desert with my family when I was three years old shaped my artwork and my future. Although there are some beautiful places in the desert, I was not inspired by the low desert. But the desert influenced my need to be among the trees in a forest. The desert offered only low bushes, cactus, and wispy mesquite trees and I found I was fascinated by trees and forests. In looking back at my earliest art work I have discovered that trees were often the subjects of my drawings and paintings”.
Our ‘Making Connections’ display is coming along. Students explored ‘The Tunnel’ by Anthony Browne this week and made connections with other texts like ‘Little Red Riding Hood’, ‘Frozen’ and even ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’.
So I got told today on Twitter that my approach to building relationships is unlike anything this person had seen or been taught before.
I simply suggested that they respond to content created by influencers that they resonated with - and start from there.
I also said that in my book, you don't 'make friends' with an influencer just to get something from them - you do it because you genuinely feel that you like what they share and stand for.
Maybe that's not 'how you do it' but it's stood me in good stead and I feel lucky to count as friends some people who have a lot of influence in the field I work in.
But I'll never use that to my advantage - they are friends!
