Ok, it’s transformation Tuesday... when I took my progress picture today I didn’t feel like I had made any progress. I was feeling frustrated. But after only 43 days I am extremely happy with my progress! I can not believe that is what I looked like on day 1. Although I notice some difference in my clothes I was telling myself it wasn’t enough. But seeing these pictures side by side showed me that i need to be proud of where I am right now. It’s not about the destination, it’s all about the journey. So here I am putting myself out there and showing you it can be done with 30 minutes a day!#makefatcry#bettyrocker#lovingmyjourney#fitnessgoals#progress#transformationtueaday#goals#igfitness#beproud#summerbody#bikinihereicome

Always be proud that you have done your best!! Remember to mark down how many rounds you get through so that you can measure your progress each time you repeat the work out. Aim to complete the work out 3 to 5 times per week, only 20 minutes a day! 👉🏽 YouTube https://youtu.be/m7ayhFQAm2g

Daily workout✔️ .
Accountability check: last night I ate too much😬. These period cravings have got me all over the place🙄. I was craving a milkshake + a burger🍔 (which I ordered), then saw spicy chili wings + wanted that too👀🙈
This morning I woke up early to work out. I could feel the food coming up + it was NOT a good feeling🤢. So here’s to trying to keep to my meal prepped meals/snacks + not let 🦖week win.
For a serial perfection like me, this quote is one of those that just brings it all back into perspective.
Far too often I let the fear of things not being good enough hold me back from even getting started. .
Or I allow the slightest hiccup or setback to stop me persevering.
And way too often I let the opinion of others, or even the imagined opinion of others stop me from going after the things that set my soul on fire.
Isn’t it sad that I should let these things stop me from giving life a go?!
Over the years, fortunately I’ve come to realise that the attainment of ‘perfection’ really is one of life’s great lies.
What is ‘perfect’ anyway? And Who determined it?
As I see things now, chasing the idea of perfection is just a mechanism for control, to keep you in that cycle of striving and not feeling as though anything is good enough, and ultimately making you feel bad.
This is why just enjoying the journey is so important - put in your best effort, be consistent in whatever you’re going after, keep believing in yourself, take things one step at a time, and life will unfold exactly, ‘perfectly’ as it should do. 💜
Pretty excited I did 2 count pushups with proper form - it took a lot of pushups to get to the point Where I could keep elbows in by my side working the tricep instead of about wide 😊 & now I can do these !! Also excited about my yoga flow today because my form wasn’t wobbly changing positions for once it was smooth transitions @thebettyrocker #makefatcry challenge days 10 & 11
