Ok, it’s transformation Tuesday... when I took my progress picture today I didn’t feel like I had made any progress. I was feeling frustrated. But after only 43 days I am extremely happy with my progress! I can not believe that is what I looked like on day 1. Although I notice some difference in my clothes I was telling myself it wasn’t enough. But seeing these pictures side by side showed me that i need to be proud of where I am right now. It’s not about the destination, it’s all about the journey. Board is pretty self explanatory.
I went into this Fitness Test with the wrong attitude ... the "i dont want to do this" kind of mood. I personally didnt think i would finish the board in the given time frame!

I gave it my absolute all and even though i watched a few people finish before me i felt proud for how well they all done and how hard they kept pushing throughout the workout, its truly amazing to watch other peoples journeys and watch how far they keep progressing.

Finished the board in i think 28mins and the time limit was 30mins. Will be interesting to see how i get on in the mid term test.

Accountability check: last night I ate too much😬. These period cravings have got me all over the place🙄. I was craving a milkshake + a burger🍔 (which I ordered), then saw spicy chili wings + wanted that too👀🙈

This morning I woke up early to work out. I could feel the food coming up + it was NOT a good feeling🤢. So here’s to trying to keep to my meal prepped meals/snacks + not let 🦖week win.

I use to always feel down about coming last and i mean without a doubt every single class at every gym/crossfit i would come last and feel like i was getting nowhere with my fitness because i was watching others and comparing myself against others that had actually been doing it and training for years..

Until i started at Just Fitness and the people that attend the classes were/are all so motivating and not judgemental at all. The trainer actually told me "Every workout is not a competition against others, only your former self and to not get disheartened by "coming last" because when you first started here you couldnt do half the things you can do now. Everyone is progressing forwards in their own fitness journey, so as i progress so are the others that have been training for years" and he couldnt have worded it any better.

Why try beat others / be better than them when we are all doing the same thing to try and better ourselves?! 👏
I now always look at the workout before it starts and think to myself of where i want to get up too or even get past on the workout to make a wee challenge / competition and make me push harder to beat myself.

Moral of the story, dont compare your fitness levels against others or try and be better than them. Make a goal for yourself and SMASH it everytime and the results will follow.

I could only do like half of the workout but the hip and butt exercises were killer. I did a Pilates workout while pregnant with number two to help strengthen the hips and found it helpful!

Pretty excited I did 2 count pushups with proper form - it took a lot of pushups to get to the point Where I could keep elbows in by my side working the tricep instead of about wide 😊 & now I can do these !! Also excited about my yoga flow today because my form wasn’t wobbly changing positions for once it was smooth transitions  @thebettyrocker #makefatcry challenge days 10 & 11
