Take 30 seconds out of your day to marvel at this sunrise rolling over Cape Town's Lion's Head mountain. 😍 This stunning capture was created by photographer @brendon_wainwright. #MeetSouthAfrica
THIS feeling 🎆 have you felt it?
I've just recently started Wakeboarding (twice at the cable park 🤣) and it is so similar yet so different to Kiteboarding. Mainly, it's way more exhausting for me! At first I found myself stopping every few rounds so that I could go drink water. Then I realised that this would be the perfect opportunity to try @thewetsleeve! Now I can drink water when I get thirsty (or my mouth gets dry from being nervous🙈) while I'm on the water! 💦 #Wetsleeve#WearableHydration#Wakeboarding
With over 1,600 miles of coastline, South Africa boasts some of the best surfing spots in the world. 🌊🏄 From the chilly Atlantic waters to the balmy tropical waters Indian Ocean, there are thousands of points, breaks and bays just waiting to be explored, Photo of Llandudno on the Cape Peninsula captured by @picstagramms. #MeetSouthAfrica
One of my favourite animals! A cheetah has amazing eyesight during the day and can spot prey from 5 km away. But did you know that cheetahs have a 50% chance of losing their kill to other predators? Because of this, they try and hunt during 'off' times of the day and then eat immediately to make the most of their meal. I think I would do the same if a lion was looming in the distance! ⠀
I woke up this morning thinking 12c was cold. It really isn’t. ❄️
Back in the mothercity - El Capitown - for five days and it all already feels normalized: the natural playground on our doorstep, the intimate scale of our city, the mix of people, the coffee, the climate.. I’m trying hard to cling onto the perspective I gained while being away from this paradise. Don’t take it granted. On my first mountain run back home, I thought about how spoiled for choice we are here, but at the same time how forgivable it is to fall into a routine because it’s all so good, and it’s easy to forget that. Get perspective.
