Often visiting cafes in or near South Brisbane starts with the challenge of finding a parking space not to far away, while it is somewhat easier on weekends then weekdays, it is never all that easy. So it was with some surprise that recently on a Sunday I was able to get in and get a park reasonably easy.
The target for the coffee on this occasion was the classy location known as Pourboy. The cafe is quite modern and does look quite nice, I never got to see their previous location in the CBD, but this location does look good. For the coffee they are serving up Mecca Coffee which comes from Sydney and I must say that it is some nice coffee. I gave the single origin a try which was from Columbia for my visit and it did have a rather interesting taste. If you would like to visit Pourboy you can find them at 271 Grey Street in South Brisbane.
wait time🕰: 3 min
volume in small🍼: 200ml
taste👅: very watery
pros➕: cheap, have loyalty cards
cons➖: floor is sticky sometimes
Sit as far into the cafe you can to avoid seeing co-workers. better to get to-go to minimise risk.
its unfair to judge takeaway long blacks, but this could have been stronger and more pungent with that delicious coffee smell.⛾ rating: ☕☕/☕☕☕☕☕ Go here if you need a quick, cheap fix.
