Love how this photo reminds me of our mind and power. We can do anything when we put our mind to it. Yes, YOU CAN. You can breakthrough your 'IMPOSSIBLE', take charge of your life. Stop waiting for people to tell you what you can or cannot accomplish. It is your life, you create your own rules. Agree?
This is shaping up to be the best weekend in a while. It’s feeling like summer, and I, once more last night, WENT OUT for drinks and even a late night taco and still got my blue dot! I can’t stress how good it feels to be rocking the plan so well. In the 4 years I’ve been doing WW, I don’t think I’ve *ever* had a week this good!
This was breakfast yesterday for 5sp
☀️Ground turkey and taco seasoning
☀️1.5 oz avocado (2sp)
☀️1/8C Trader Joe’s lite Mexican blend (1sp)
☀️Siete cassava and coconut tortilla (2sp)
Summer is here moms. Kids are home from school. Routines are thrown off. I know the first inclination is to say you do t have time to workout or you are busy with kids, traveling etc.
I hear it all the time.... “I’ve got so much going on right now, I don’t have time to get started on my fitness.” Here to drop some truth in ❤️. Life has always got something going on. There’s always school projects, kids getting sick, moves, vacations, birthday parties, work.... Just something I’ve found true is that if I take just 30 minutes a day...that’s 2% of my day to work on my health...I can tackle all the other stuff with a way better mindset, more clarity, less stress and more energy. I actually get MORE done.
It comes down to MAKING time to do it. It’s the law of decision and realizing you are worth that little time each day to take care of yourself. It’ll make you a way happier and healthier person and better for the ones around you who need you to be on your A game.
If you are looking for some support on your fitness routine this summery “drop it like it’s hot” June accountability group is open and I have spots available! ⬇️⬇️⬇️. Drop “I’m in” and I’ll reach out and save your spot!
#selfloveintosummer18 - day 14 : sometimes, #selflove looks like acknowledging the limitations of your energy and time. This was my first weekend off in 5 weeks. I won’t have another weekend off at home for 8 more weeks (I have one weekend off in that time frame but I will be visiting family in Baltimore). I have 3 day shifts, 2 days of travel for a funeral, and 2 night shifts this week alone. So I’m outsourcing meal prep this week and probably for the next few weeks. It is more important to me that I devote time to my boyfriend, dogs, family, and friends than it is to carefully handcraft my weekly menus. That’s okay. Not everything is perfect all the time. In fact it’s a huge victory for me to admit that in advance and actively plan healthy meals from @snapkitchen instead of relying on takeout and fast food as an emotional crutch during the busiest time of my year. Don’t be afraid to ask for help or take the “shortcut” if you need it. This is me prioritizing myself and freeing myself up to fully engage in the other parts of my life. #weightwatchers#wwfreestyle#livelifefully#beyondtheplan#wwcommunity#wwsisterhood#wwdivas
I’ve been practicing slowing down....giving my full attention to one thing or person at a time...call it mindfulness or single-point focus...but no matter what you call it, it’s teaching me gratitude, it’s revealing what’s truly important to me, and showing me all of the wonderfulness that I have in my life...at this moment...and this moment is all I have. This moment is all I need.
It’s not about the quantity of time we have or the amount of things we get done....it’s about the quality of the time we spend with ourselves and others.
It’s totally true, don’t you think? In order to experience either - the journey or the destination - you have to just start. ~
I’ve been on a fitness journey for the last 11 years. First it was to climb some mountains around the world. Then it was to maintain the consistency in training and keep my health at the level I was enjoying.
In January I decided to mix things up with my training and add in some powerlifting. Eight weeks ago, because of a great coach who planted the seed, I committed to participating in an AAU National powerlifting event. Seriously? Me?
Another reminder from the universe for me - you never know until you try. Open yourself up to a new experiences with curiosity and see what happens. The event was a great learning experience for me, so inspiring to watch the athletes and some awesome coaches.
The best part of the day? Sharing it with my people. Hearing my daughter @kasiechelanne say she was proud of me. Watching my husband @3meterswell interact with my coach and seeing his excitement for me. Grateful that he spent his entire Saturday making sure it happened for me. And grateful for an amazing coach @bodiedbyrose who believes in me.
There are 2 new AAU National records in my age/weight class for bench press and deadlift. It was a good day. ~
I hope you’re all having a great weekend! 💫
What is fear stopping you from?
Whether it’s a fear of heights, failure, success, the unknown, flying or something else, you’ve got to feel the fear and do it anyways.
Living in your comfort zone isn’t going to cut it anymore, babe. Take that fear by the horns and fight it head on. Act FEARLESSLY. Do the hard things and do the scary things. •
Trust me. It will feel amazing & your life will open more opportunities ✨ #feelthefearanddoitanyway#befearless#dothehardstuff#devilsgarden
Open eyes - I embrace new ways of seeing myself, others and the world. I expand how I view possibilities and problems. My intention is to see with more clarity, and notice those things that I have stopped seeing out of habit. I am more observant of what is, while being more open to what might be.
Open mind- I am developing a practice of looking at situations with a different mindset, in order to be successful. I seek out new learning and understanding, and think in more creative ways. My life is more spacious, loose and fun. In order to maintant that, I expand that way of being while still being structured and efficient when appropriate. An open mind entails letting go of old thought habits and beliefs that keep me small or don’t serve me.
Open heart - I am okay with vulnerability and risk. I express more of who I am and why I do what I do. An open heart enables me to come from love and not fear. This part of my theme is the prerequisite for living with open eyes and an open mind. In both my professional and personal life, I will offer an open heart to those around me. That is where the real Olivia resides.
"Loving life is one of the most 'important' changes you can make to have a 'healthier' and 'happier' life. It doesn't mean that you won't have hard times, or times that you're upset, but having your 'default' be ‘love’ of your life, will make it easier to cope when times get hard. Love life and Life will love you back. Love people who loves you and people will love you back..."❤ #LoveLife#LiveLifeFully#BeThankful#BeYOU
