Can’t believe the Swiss neighbor came out around 12.10 to complain that we should follow the rules and stop mowing the lawn between 12noon -1.30pm. We started at 11.30am and just a 5mins more to go. Been mowing the lawn at that time over 10yrs and was not aware of such rule(s) except after hours late evening and Sundays. My son was so scared he refused to continue his fun chores and freaked out. This is insane ... I don’t give a @#?!... it’s the only time on the weekend to take care of my garden. I think the mentality around here is a bit strange...people take life too seriously. Perhaps, a happy dance could be the key towards changing our attitudes😇. Not sure what other Swiss canton rules are wrt to the mowing? Help?
#liveinthemoment ❤️
It took 20 minutes to experience this sunrise but it would have taken less than 30 seconds to miss it. How many beautiful moments are we missing in life by not being present for them? How often are we missing out because our minds are so stuck in the past and fixated on future concerns. There is a time and place to address our dark spaces and worries but becoming more aware of what is happening in the “now” is imperative in working through all the crap and getting the most out of life. It’s the light in our lives that will heal those spaces and most of us aren’t acknowledging them enough. Be present. If you are at your child’s play, put your phone away and watch it! Take in their hard work, be that proud parent you deserve to be, and understand that the child you have raised and nurtured is giving you a gift. When you visit with a long time friend, be their friend not a social media play by play reporter of your time together. If your time is limited with someone, focus on being grateful for the time you do have with them and make it the best time ever... laugh, smile, be goofy, and enjoy every second. We are in a day in age where the “here and now” is being replaced by making it everyone else’s business. One life.. one chance to become the person we want to be. Change starts with each of us. 30 seconds .. what will you choose to see today? #dontmissout#onelife#now#inthenow#thismoment#moment#liveinthemoment#beauty#beautifulday#blessings#magestic#30seconds#blinkofaneye#bepresent#past#future#darkness#light#sunrise#warmth#livefortoday#saturdaysunshine#hereandnow
