There's so many places you can go, and you feel kind of good. But there's only one place where you feel completely peaceful, where you're just happy, where you understand the meaning of happiness. I need to leave and being there. I need to feel real happiness again 🌎💕
I wonder what happened to this ambitious wine tourism project “The Cava Village” from Marqués de Monistrol in the Penedès and that belonged to “Haciendas de España”, Spain’s first hotel chain specialised in wine tourism... Somebody knows or remembers???? Opening ceremony with important members of the regional Government in July 2008 with live music from the Gipsy Kings... Opening a 5-star GL hotel & spa called Masía L’Hereu, a River Café by Sergi Arola that had to be an innovative concept of “wine&dine” and organic food... an investment of more than 6 million €. And the day after the opening ceremony???? Never heard anything about it anymore...I passed by and it seems to be closed... What a pity!
Riuscite a immaginarlo? Un film. E poi ...
Il resto alla prossima puntata. Intanto godiamoci la vista di questi tetti d'ardesia, che da soli fanno già sognare.
A voi piace Parigi? Sognereste mai di viverci?
Io di tornarci, prima o poi, si.
Before you start writing "Wow, you're in Paris!", I must tell you that no, I'm in Milan. This is my slide-back saturday #sbs because I am in the mood for confidences today and I thought that I could start from this chapter of my life.
I was 20 something, I was doing my PHD and I was supposed to spend 2 months in Paris studying an ancient manuscript dated to XIV century, but ...
to be continued...
Have you ever dreamed of living in Paris? .
Stunning views to some of the most famous steep vineyards of the Mosel Valley, considered to be the best place in the world for Riesling wines. These vineyards are called “Bremmer Calmont”, which incline at 65 degrees and are considered to be the steepest vineyards in the world. I used to live only 2 hours from this region until I decided to move to Barcelona 25 years ago and have been there several times. Visits to wineries and wine tastings have a long history in this region. Germany patented the first official Wine Route in the world already in 1931 and Riesling was first recorded in this region in 1435. Mosel is one of 13 German wine regions for quality wines. Really a nice destination for wine lovers. 📷 pic reposted by @heidemann.klaus
@altaalella in the Alella wine region.... Vines with views to the Mediterranean are guaranteed. The Alella wine region is still quite unknown even for local people from Barcelona, although it’s just a half an hour drive from the city centre (...as far as the traffic allows it...). The problem is definitely neither que quality of the specially excellent white wines (...recommended with Pansa Blanca or white Grenache grape varieties) and cavas, nor the quality of the winetourism experience. It’s one of the Spain’s smallest wine regions, although wine is made in this region since Roman times. Really very recommendable as an excursion from Barcelona or from one of the Coast resorts from the Maresme or Costa Brava. @altaalella is a certified organic farming winery and one of my favourite places for winetourism in Catalonia. The excursion with their 4WD through the vineyards is outstanding and their visitor centre is very charming. I personally love their white wines Parvus and Cau d'en Genís, the Dolç Mataró and their Mirgin cavas.
