From the bottom of my heart- thank you to everyone who posted feedback for me yesterday. I wrote down every single word you shared and all the comments are so helpful to developing my art and growing my business. 🌿
Sooooo, these virtual flowers are for you because you all rock! 🌿
So, this is awkward 😳 BUT my word of the year is CHALLENGE so I am pushing myself out of my comfort zone.
I have been challenged to take some of my work and ask how it makes people feel. In the comments below, I would be forever grateful if you could give me three words to describe me, my business, my photography......
I would really appreciate the feedback. 💗
Thank you so much! xoxo
Reminding myself this morning that rain brings flowers and after the storm, sun always comes. Even on the hardest of days we will make it.
If your Monday isn’t going the way you were hoping, look for the sunshine. It’s hiding behind those clouds. ⛅️
I thought I would jump on board with the whole Friday introductions thing since I never really post pictures of myself 😆.
This is me in my natural element- kid wrangling. I pretend like I'm in control but you can see who is clearly running the show.
Motherhood is my jam and photography is my art. Here are 5 more things about me....
1. I collect vintage pyrex. 🥣
2. My favorite food is a home-grown tomato sandwich with real mayo. I'm somewhat of a tomato 🍅 snob so don't try to trick me with that store bought crap.
3. I live in a 100-year old home 🏡 that we are slowly restoring. I am beginning to chronicle our journey at #graybeal_home_reno
4. I’ve been sober 237 days now. Whoop, whoop!
5. I dream of traveling ✈️ more but deep down I am really a homebody. ✖️
I would love to get to know you more. Tell me 5 things about you!
Tween + natural smile.
It's like capturing a rare bird. 😂
Has anyone ever heard of the nine-year change? It's a Waldorf thing but WOW did it hit home. You hear a lot about what to expect when raising teens but the period between 9 and 10 can be a tough transition for some kids and parents too.
They are beginning to move away from their world of imaginary play and early childhood, wanting to define themselves more as an individual. This change can be emotional for all but it's also really cool to see how these tiny little creatures are developing into their own person.
Parenthood is pretty awesome.🌿
I thought Nolan looked nice today. Second photo was his pose. Later in the day he changed things up a bit. He needed his Super Nolan cape I made him when he was much younger. #letthekidsdressthemselves
Double tap if your excited for FRIYAY!!! 💥
We are officially on spring break! Holla! Hawaii here we come! 🏝 Ok, maybe not Hawaii but we are spending a couple nights at one of those super relaxing indoor waterparks. Alllllmost the same thing. 🙄
Speaking of spring break the crowds this week almost drove me over the edge. I kept forgetting it was spring break until we arrived at our destination and then there was no turning back.
Anyone else struggle with crowds or am I just getting grumpier with age??? 👵🏼
These kinds of moments. The ones that you’ll look back on when your son is taller than you, and see the happy-go-lucky goofball that was more interested in playing with a leaf than looking at a camera. Those are the moments I want to capture, because those are the ones that I think we’ll forget too easily.
I haven’t decided if I’m going to offer spring mini sessions this year or not, but either way, I would love to get you and your favorite people in front of my camera. Let’s make some magic.
