We visited the Mongolian monastery a few times during our time in bodhgaya We met Gerel (officially). I had seen and had a few short conversations with her earlier in the week as she has a connection with the Jonang monks. We met at an coffee spot and asked her if she could give a little bit of her time for this shoot . She was already visiting the Mongolian monastery and that made it all very convenient for us. She is a wonderful warmhearted person who has her own business in the Mongolian capital. From the project women of Buddhism. @official_monnik_giel @trataka_photography
The Honmura Harbour. Naoshima, 2017.
Naoshima: a surreal island. Located in the Seto Inland Sea of Japan, Naoshima has gained lot of popularity among art devotees from all over the world, since 1987. From that year, Naoshima has become one of the most peculiar art project not only in Japan, scattering unique installations, small galleries and internationally relevant museums all over the archipelago. On the island, often referred as "Ando Island", since a wide amount of works were designed by the world famous architect Tadao Ando, pieces by Andy Warhol, Claude Monet and Yayoi Kusama are exposed, oftentimes in a nature-connected scenario, which makes them truly suggestive. Even if Naoshima's population barely reaches 3'000 inhabitants, the small island attracts more than 800'000 tourists every year. However, the inner soul of a fishermen and farmers island is sincerely preserved.
