Apologies for the radio silence everyone. I ran away to the mountains with this bunch and decided to have a week off social media. There was so much I wanted to share with you but it’s good for the soul to have a break and just be in the moment. Now, back to reality with a bang, so much to do, so little time, but a lot of exciting things to come! I’ll be sharing some sneak peeks of the new collection on ‘stories’ today so make sure you keep an eye out for that! Thank you to @northstarchalets for a wonderful week and to @smoking_monkey03 for capturing this amazing moment.

I snapped this on Saturday, my friends, when he and me ventured out into Staffordshire, first to check out a furniture warehouse (oh oh! I forgot to say - we’ve bought a house, and are getting the keys this coming weekend!) which was rather a disappointing experience (lol), and then to visit Ilam for some Peaks climbing!
Parking up in the grounds of the beautiful (seen peeping-in here) neo-gothic @nationaltrust property, Ilam Hall (the remaining parts now a @yhaofficial Youth Hostel!), off we ventured to the in-the-backdrop flat-topped Thorpe Cloud (against which people have seen...and captured - google for the footage!...☀ a double sunset!), pausing...but of course...at the local icky van for two large 99s 🍦 (or...2pound 50s) with a flake, which were S O huge it got to the point that we were no longer enjoying them but, instead, just trying to force them down our gobs so we could be rid of them!
I know. We're dreadful.
Deciding to avoid the queue that straggled pathside up Thorpe Cloud, we instead navigated the steep sides of the neighbouring Bunster Hill, meeting paragliders navigating by-wind-softly-swept skies and clumps of black-dotted sheep that warily bleeted and scattered at distance....which was all very lovely until we had an argument (as we always do when we’re climbing somewhere) and he grumped off. My response was to record a voicemail from the top of the mountain to @lucylucraft because I was huffy and needed to let off steam (you’re welcome, Lu) and🚶walk as s l o w l y y y y as possible until I caught up with him sunbathing...and everything was forgotten (because, hotheads. The pair of us). We stayed there a while, enjoying the warmth 😍 before heading back down to wander Ilam Park landscape (after I tore a hole in my tights on barbed wire, reyyyyy) and journeying home.
Sunday stuff coming soon!
Gotta keep you on your toes, right?!
What did you get up to this weekend?
It is the same between objects and beings, but with different meanings. 🐕
