Regrann from Owner/Head Coach @johnny_veganseed - Doesn't anyone see a problem here? We should be ashamed of ourselves as a species 😑😶✌️✊ Regrann from @the_wild_ibanez - The broadest definition of the human Holocaust takes the death toll to about 17 million people.
Every damn year the meat, egg and dairy industries alone kill about 150 billion land animals and 2.8 trillion water animals. These numbers do NOT include the many millions of animals tortured and murdered every year in vivisection laboratories, the animals killed for their fur and skins, those murdered for blood sports such as bullfighilting, cockfighting and dogfighting, the millions of dogs and cats killed by animal shelters or the ones that die while held captive in animal-slavery organizations such as zoos, circuses and rodeos.
This is the Animal Holocaust. Anyone who feels offended by the comparison with the human holocaust is mentally sick with the Nazi superiority complex.
Violence is violence and murder is murder, even when the victims have fur, beaks, horns, gills or feathers.
The Animal Holocaust was happening long before the Jewish Holocaust, during the Jewish Holocaust and it's still happening today. Isn't it about time for us to finally abolish concentration camps and slaughterhouses once and for all?
"What do they know—all these scholars, all these philosophers, all the leaders of the world? They have convinced themselves that man, the worst transgressor of all the species, is the crown of creation. All other creatures were created merely to provide him with food, pelts, to be tormented, exterminated. In relation to them [animals], all people are Nazis; for the animals it is an eternal Treblinka." - Isaac Bashevis Singer, Jewish humanitarian who escaped Nazi-occupied Poland, condemning every animal-exploiter.
