Buona settimana a tutti!
We've still got room in our Monsters, Dolls and studies camp! This toy making camp is always fun and engaging for kids of all ages. I'm particularly fond of dolls. They hold a very special place in my heart. In this camp, kids get to do a bit more creative work, crafting what their imagination can dream up. Who wouldn't want their child to hold the whole world 🌎 in their hands?

Summer vacation is coming!
We have kids classes started mid-June. Do you have a child age 8-15 interested in learning some skills like sewing, embroidery, leather working and more? This summer we’re taking several of our popular adult classes and adapting them for kids. We’ll be using the same real tools and materials, just simplifying some parts and keeping it at kid pace (kids are super fast and confident in their creations). Classes will be on Thursday and Friday afternoons In June and July. We’re also filling our schedule with private maker parties and classes for kids so if there’s something you have in mind, contact me to plan soon. #kidscrafts#kidssewing#kidsartclass#sewingclass#craftclass#summerkids#creativekids#sewingclassesforkids#leatherforkids#stitchkids#makerkids#summerclasses

It's been a week since I made up this project for our Fridays Kids Club...and it didn't go as planned, noone thought it was snail! 🐌 So it was abit of a fail! 🤔They all thought it was a mini cap, a peak, but with googly eyes on. I guess they all thought I was mad!
Things don't always go to plan of course, and as I was introducing the project, noone seemed too interested! In class we used stretch t-shirting instead of the thinner viscose, and the machines were struggling to sew the thicker plaited ropes we had made up. All to say the class was chaotic, but there were some cool and inventive outcomes. .
