I'm one of the Filipinos who eat breakfast food for dinner from time to time. So, here's a #cambodianricebowl perfect for breakfast: amok butter fried rice with fried egg, homemade chili garlic, and purple basil. Amok butter is essentially butter infused with coconut, lemongrass, kaffir lime zest, shallots, garlic, galanggal, and palm sugar. I used @farmtotableph's unsalted butter, and I'm very happy with the quality. The style of the chili garlic is similar to what vendors serve with Cambodian-style balut or baby duck eggs. #khmercuisine#khmerfood#cambodiancuisine#cambodianfood
Another great Backstreet meal in Siem Reap! Our street food tour takes you to all the favourite local places 😍 ~~Here we are seeing some Sangvak. It is red fish with some spices and chilli pepper wrapped in Sappra leaf. You cannot eat 1 of these.. you just keep going! ~~ It is especially nice to take a lettuce leaf and make your own little food package, including this fish, some fresh herbs, cucumber and glass noodles. It can get a bit messy but it is totally worth it! 😄

Tada.... It's Thailand's Tom Yum flavoured instant noodle. 😅😅😅 Sorry, Khmer food is really not my cup of tea. Not my family as well.
Though the curry looks nice, but we really don't prefer sweet and creamy curry in such a hot weather.
